Kounoa opened her eyes and felt an immense heat in front of her. She looked up to see the demon again. She trembled as she looked at her paws.

They looked the same as they did the other times she had the nightmare. The red aura around them flared up before she looked at the demon again. Voices echoed in her ears before the demon slammed its palm onto Kounoa.

She woke up to see Yoku in her face. Her heart pounded seeing the opossum so close to her again. Kounoa stared for a few heartbeats before speaking. "I had a nightmare."

"What was it about?" Yoku questioned.

Kounoa sighed. "It was about a demon who-"

Yoku interrupted Kounoa by hugging her tightly. Kounoa shook her head and sighed before embracing the hug. I can't lie... I love hugging Yoku. She couldn't help but smile. "I'm fine, Yoku... Let me get dressed, please."

The opossum took the blanket off of Kounoa and picked her up. She was only in her underwear. Kounoa's fur felt hot and her face got red. "Y-Yoku! Please! Just let me..."

"Calm down. I know what you're wearing." Yoku intruded her closet and dug in it while holding her.

"Oh, my... Yoku..." Kounoa put her paws on her face and shook her head.

Yoku got out a plain gray tank top and a gray skirt for her. "Perfect!" He headed to the bathroom with her.

"Can you put me down, please?"

The opossum rolled his eyes and set her down. He gave her the clothing. "I'll be waiting!" He walked out of the bathroom and shut it behind him.

I know he's protecting me, but he doesn't have to go overboard with it! Kounoa took off her underwear and set her clothes on the sink. She retrieved a towel before she got in the shower. Hopefully, he calms down soon...

After she got out of the shower, Kounoa dried herself off and put her clothes on. She opened the door and Yoku swiftly scooped her up before she took a step out of the bathroom. "Yoku!" The shiba shouted as he carried her to the kitchen.

"What?" He stared at her with a confused look. "I'm helping you out."

"I get that, but I'm not a baby! You know I can handle myself, too."

"Mhm."

Kounoa sighed and headed to her room. Yoku followed closely. Kounoa noticed this and turned to him. The opossum leaned down and was now face to face with her. She couldn't help but blush. "Can you at least tone it down a bit...?"

Yoku rolled his eyes. "Fine, fine. But I'll never be too far from you."

"I know." Kounoa hugged Yoku. "Just remember that I have my strength."

"And just remember that I'm your bodyguard." Yoku smirked.

Kounoa let go of the opossum. "Let me make breakfast for us." She headed to the door.

Yoku followed close behind. "I'll help." His head was next to Kounoa's.

Knock knock knock.

"Let me-"

Yoku was gone in the blink of an eye and headed to the door. Kounoa ran after him. "Yoku! Wait!" She saw Yoku staring at the floor. She saw an envelope near his feet. Yoku pulled the door open and nearly took it off its hinges.

"Yoku!"

The opossum ran out of her house and looked around before he dashed off. Kounoa ran over to the door and picked up the envelope. She opened it and pulled out a picture of her naked in the shower. She pulled out a letter from The Raiser.

"My sweet Kounoa. Your body looks so fucking amazing. I want to kiss you all over and have babies with you. You are so fucking sexy and I'll do anything to kiss those breasts of yours. One day, I'll grope your ass and squeeze your tits and I'll keep doing it once I have you all to myself. There's nothing in this world that'll stop me from having sex with you!"

"I love you, sweetie."

-The Raiser

Kounoa stared at the letter with horror in her eyes. She didn't know what to say or what to do. Her paws shook out of fear and anger.

She didn't know what to do now.

Yoku dashed around the city and tried to pick up any trace or scent of the one who put the envelope there. He climbed up a building and didn't care who saw him. He ran and hopped from building to building.

I'll find them. I'll find them and stop them. He growled and kept going. He looked down at the citizens to see if he could spot anyone out of the ordinary. Nothing looked out of place to him. "Damn it, damn it!"

Yoku stopped at the edge of the building. His anger rose in his blood. "I swear I'll kill you! Stop hiding from me, you bastard!" He turned around and fell to his knees on the roof. "I swear..." The opossum whispered and held his head down.

"I swear you'll be a corpse when I find you!" Yoku punched the roof and made a hole in it.

"You know you're not supposed to be this far from Kounoa, right?"

Yoku looked up to see a blue and white shark woman with short black hair. His expression got worse as he stood and faced her. She was as tall as him. The shark had a smirk on her face. "Bou. What are you doing here?"

"Getting ready to watch Kounoa. As you should be doing."

"Look... Let's just head back to her house. I'll explain when we get there."

"Sure!"

Yoku and Bou headed off. They hopped buildings as they headed to Kounoa's house. Yoku looked at Bou as they jumped. "Where did you come from, anyway?"

Bou chuckled. "I came from a new restaurant in the city. They have delicious lobster there. We should all go sometime."

"Of course." Yoku rolled his eyes. "I'm not even surprised you were there. Do they have any other protein or main dish there?"

"They have a kids' menu. For Kiiroibara if we take her." The shark couldn't help but laugh.

Yoku smirked. "Still giving her shit for being the youngest, huh?" He laughed as well. "She'd hit us both for that."

"I know. I enjoy teasing her." Bou's smirk widened.

Bou and Yoku soon arrived at Kounoa's house.
