As the day went by and the evening came along, Kounoa stretched as she grabbed her bag out of her locker and left the factory. Kounoa felt something touch her shoulder before she exited the building.

She turned around and punched whatever it was.

"Holy shit, Kounoa!"

Kounoa realized she punched her boss in the stomach again. "Oh, god. I'm so sorry! You scared me, and I've been having a weird day, and..."

Mr. Sky chuckled and held his stomach, holding back tears. "It's fine, Kounoa! I should've called your name or something first. Just make sure you get some good rest tonight, got it?"

Kounoa nodded and smiled. "Got it! Sorry about punching you!" She hurried out of the factory.

Bou greeted Kounoa once she got out. The shark woman had a smirk on her face while she ate some type of exotic food. She finished the rest of it before taking Kounoa's bag. "Let me hold your bag for you."

"Thanks, Bou!"

The shark nodded. "Of course. How was work?"

"Work was fine! I got another letter from Raiser, though. The letter said something about not holding back what's inside of me. It's probably something perverted..."

"Oh." Bou said. "Do you have the letter on you?"

Kounoa shook her head. "Nope. I ripped it up because I got angry. This Raiser person is nothing but a creep! Do you have any idea who they could be, Bou?"

"No. They could be anyone. So, we all have to stay cautious." Bou said as she and Kounoa walked down the sidewalk, heading back to the house.

Kounoa sighed and gained a nervous look on her face.

Bou patted her back. "It'll be fine, Kounoa! It'll get figured out soon enough and we'll stop whoever Raiser is."

"I hope so."

As they headed back to Kounoa's house, the women noticed a fox running down the sidewalk. He snatched a girl's purse and pulled out a pistol from his pocket. The fox shot her in the legs and ran away.

Kounoa and Bou dashed after the fox at high speeds. The shiba woman made it in front of the fox and punched him in the gut. Caught by surprise, he stumbled back in pain, dropping the purse.

He held his pistol out while stepping back. "I should shoot you for getting in my way!"

The fox bumped into something soft, turning around to see Bou's face.

Bou grabbed the gun and crushed it. "Sorry, buddy. That won't happen."

"What the hell?! Who are you? Leave me the hell alone!" he pushed himself off of Bou and ran.

Kounoa grabbed him by the throat before he could go further. "That's enough from you," she stomped on his arm, and a crunch came from it.

"Fucking shit! My arm!"

Bou picked up the purse and went back to the woman, setting it next to her. "Don't worry, we'll get help for you. Just try to apply pressure on where he shot you."

The woman nodded and put her hands on the bullet wounds. Bou went into the woman's purse and got her phone, calling the cops.

Kounoa picked up the fox and knocked him out with a punch before he could yell more. The shiba walked over to Bou and the woman, tossing him on the ground.

"Thank you two! I might've lost my legs but... thank you! Who are you?" The woman questions.

Kounoa smiled. "No problem! Don't worry about who we are, though. Just make sure you tell the cops the story of what happened. Uh, tell them that the fox tripped or something!"

"Okay, I think..." The woman said.

The shiba looked at Bou. "Let's get out of here!"

"Right."

Bou and Kounoa headed off as the cops and ambulance came around.

The women walked up to the door, seeing an envelope taped on it.

Not this again... Kounoa shook her head as she took the envelope off the door. Bou looked around and made sure there wasn't anything suspicious nearby. She looked back at the envelope.

Here we go. What do they have to say now? Kounoa opened the envelope and pulled out another letter.

"I told you, my love. Don't hold back what's inside of you. You should find out what's inside soon before more people get hurt like that lady that got shot. I love you."

-The Raiser

Kounoa crumbled up the letter and tossed it in the air. Bou caught it with her jaws and swallowed the ball of paper whole.

This is getting really annoying. Kounoa entered the house with Bou and the shark woman shut the door behind them.

Bou stretched and set Kounoa's bag on the floor before she headed for the kitchen. "Try not to worry about it too much, Kounoa."

Kounoa plopped on the couch. "I'll try. Plus, Yoku's looking into it. So, I trust him to figure out what's going on."

"Sounds good to me! I'll be more on watch, but I'll have to visit restaurants less." Bou peeked her head out of the kitchen. "Speaking of food. I'll need a big dinner while I'm here."

The shiba couldn't help but chuckle. She got up and headed to the kitchen. "Well, I could eat something myself!"

Bou smirked. "Lovely!"

"Oh, as well. Nice work on stopping the fox!" Kounoa said to Bou.

Bou nodded. "It's no problem. I didn't even break a sweat." She replied.

Kounoa took out the cooking materials she needed to cook. "That's good! Want to help me with cooking?"

The shark woman walked into the kitchen. "Of course."

The night went on as the women cooked an enormous dinner. Mostly for Bou.
