Chapter 13: Scum

"Nothing here." Yoku exited a dark alleyway.

I've been looking for something. Anything. Any clues that'll lead me to that fucker Raiser! Yoku groaned to himself before leaning on a wall.

I should head back to Kounoa's house. The slums ain't got nothing for me to find here. Why would Raiser hang out around here? The opossum groaned and rolled his eyes.

Something pierced the wall next to him. He looked to see an envelope. Finally. Yoku pulled the envelope out of the wall. He opened it and discovered a letter inside.

"This happens when you mess with me. You lose the Poison that infected your soul."

-The Raiser

"Poison?!" Yoku shouted out loud.

The opossum man heard gunshots next to an abandoned building. He tossed the letter on the ground and ran at his max speed to the location of the shots. Running at high speeds, Yoku headed down the side of the building. "Poison! Speak to me!"

He witnessed Poison's body flopped on the ground. A fat honey badger man held a heated pistol in between his claws.

I'm sending him straight to Hell! Yoku growled and summoned a knife in his hand. He dashed behind the badger and violently stabbed him in the back with fury. "I'll never let you see the light of day! I hope your entire family burns and rots in hell!"

The badger spat out blood as Yoku grabbed him by the neck and turned him towards the building. A burst of dark energy came from his claws, and he launched the badged through the deserted building.

Yoku went through the hole he had made. "He was supposed to have a life. A life better than mine! He died too young, and it's your fault, you fucking scumbag!" Tears poured down the opossum's eyes. He went over to the dying badger and stomped his head in.

Yoku stomped the pile of mush and brains that was left of his head. "If I ever see your kind roaming these streets, they're dead!" He stomped his body, seeing nothing but red.

The opossum said nothing. He turned around and ran out of the building to Poison. Fucking shit... Yoku kneeled to his body and saw his blood spilling onto the ground. He took off Poison's hoodie and saw multiple bullet holes in his chest.

Poison gave Yoku a weak look.

"I'll get someone to help you. I-I promise." Yoku stuttered out his words.

"You know you don't need to worry about me, Yoku." Poison replied. The life in his eyes left soon after.

Yoku covered Poison's body up with the hoodie. He picked up the young opossum's body and walked off. Yoku ended up somewhere near the edge of Phoburn City. He dug a grave for Poison and buried him. The opossum sat by the grave and pondered his thoughts.

I'm going to kill Raiser. Nothing is going to stop me. I'll make sure I send him to Hell with that horrid badger. Yoku got up and stared at Poison's grave for a few heartbeats before walking off.

Nothing else will get taken from me.

Saboten was in her room in the Wonderland Strip Club. "My new dominatrix outfit should work perfectly for this session!" She giggled and smirked. "And for many future ones, too!~"

As she prepped for her session, she noticed an envelope on her desk. Hm? I wonder who left this? She picked up the envelope and opened it to find a letter.

"This is what you get for messing with me."

-The Raiser

"Oh! What a nice love letter~" Saboten smirked.

Heartbeats passed before she heard gunshots and screaming outside of her room. What a joy! Time to see what all the fun is about! Saboten kept a smirk on her face as she headed out of her room and into the main area of the club.

Saboten observed the place. Let's see... People overdosing on drugs and people shooting them with shotguns! How adorable! The goat put her hands together and slowly moved them apart to reveal a pink whip.

She whipped the two foxes holding shotguns across their bodies. "That's enough out of the three of you~" Saboten lashed her whip and grabbed a shotgun, pulling it out of the paws of a fox and knocking the other shotguns out of their partner's paws.

The foxes looked confused. Saboten strutted over to them. "Problem, boys?"

They growled and attacked Saboten. They punched and kicked her, but she smiled.

"Oh, yes!~ Hit me harder! I love the pain!" She giggled, not phased by any of the attacks. She then retaliated by striking one in the face with her fist and sending them through the wall.

Saboten lashed her whip again, and it wrapped around another fox's neck and choked him. She pranced closer to him while he choked. "Death ain't nothing to me, honey~" Saboten's smirk got wider and licked her lips.

The deer woman stopped choking him. "But... Since Kounoa wouldn't like that... I'll just have the police take you!~" Her whip disappeared, and she clocked the fox in the skull and knocked him out. She picked up both foxes and tossed them outside.

"I wish you two were customers!~ You're both pretty cute!~" Saboten chuckled and winked and their unconscious bodies. She dusted her hands off and headed inside. Saboten pulled out her phone and called the police.

Kounoa left the Ignite Factory alone. I'm tired of all of this. I just want to go lie down and never get out of bed. She trudged back home, defeated.

All of this death and misery. It's my fault. No matter where I go.

The shiba woman made it back home. An envelope was pierced through her door. She stared at the letter. Why can't you leave me alone?! Rage furnished her soul as she swiped the letter out of her door.

Kounoa ripped open the envelope and read the letter inside.

"Hey, beautiful. I miss you! Why don't you come and visit me? I live in a tiny house outside of the city! But, I request you to come alone. See you soon, my love!"

-The Raiser

She stared at the letter and raised one hand. "Sorry. I'm not doing this alone."

This is it. She snapped her fingers. Kounoa felt a wind blow behind her. She turned around and her bodyguards stood side by side in front of her.

"I know where Raiser is. We're getting him and ending this once and for all." Kounoa clarified.
