Kounoa nearly spaced out, but Raiser called for her. "Kounoa, my love! Doesn't it make you upset that your own bodyguards lied to you?" The fox hopped around and avoided Yoku's knives and Suguru's roars. "They're not even your bodyguards! They're your sins!"
Kounoa's eye twitched. "What the hell is he talking about? Who do I believe?!"
Saboten glared at the fox. "Shut up and die already!"
Raiser hopped around and avoided Yoku's knives and Suguru's roars. "They're hiding everything from you, Kounoa! They abandoned me back then and your father died because of you! Because of the wrath inside of you!"
Yoku growled and dashed over to Raiser. A burst of dark energy came from the opossum man. He aimed to knock back the fox. Raiser avoided the energy burst and got behind Yoku. The fox took out his pistol and shot Yoku in the back with an energy shot.
The opossum flew in another direction. Suguru charged at Raiser. The lion's golden armor shone in the sunlight as he threw swift, heavy punches at the fox. "This ends here, Raiser!" Suguru roared again.
Raiser chuckled and evaded each blow. "It ends for you, Suguru! Sin of pride!" He shot Suguru in the side and knocked him away. The fox looked at Kounoa with a grin.
Kounoa made her paws into fists. "Saboten, Bou. Please step out of the way."
"We can't do that, Kounoa." Bou replied.
"We don't want to! We need you to stay protected!" Saboten frowned.
The shiba woman glared at both of them. "Move, now." She ordered her bodyguards.
Bou and Saboten hesitate before they moved out of the way for Kounoa. The two women looked at each other before looking back at Kounoa. Kounoa stepped up. "How do I know you're not lying? What I'm hearing from you is bullshit right now!"
Raiser nods. "Of course it is! How about we have one of your sins tell you themselves?" The fox walked over to Taida's unconscious body and picked her up by the throat. He slowly walked towards Kounoa. "Nobody move, or Taida dies in my paws!"
Please don't let any of this be true. Kounoa sweat bullets as Raiser approached her with her bodyguard. I've trusted all of you for years.
The fox man grabbed Taida's arm and crushed it with his paw. She woke up with a blood-curdling scream. The scream sent a chill down Kounoa's spine. Kounoa teared up as she watched Taida cry in pain.
Raiser stopped once he was in front of Kounoa. "Go on and tell her the truth, Taida!"
Tears poured down Taida's eyes as she stared at Kounoa. The rabbit woman weakly shook her head.
"Don't fucking do it, Taida!" Yoku screamed. His hand shook as he gripped the knife in his hand.
"Taida... Please. Tell me the truth!" Kounoa begged.
Taida gave a sorry look to Yoku.
"Taida! Don't!" Yoku yelled.
The rabbit woman nodded. "It's all true, Kounoa... The reason Raiser knows that is because he used to work with Shion, your father."
Kounoa stared at her bodyguard. The inside of my body feels like hell. A red aura appeared around her. A flow of endless... Anger. I can't stop it. How could my own bodyguards... Sins? Lie to me? How are they my sins?! Who am I?! The shiba woman engulfed herself in rage.
Yoku dropped to his knees, defeated. His look of anger turned into a look of hopelessness. Raiser dropped Taida and laughed like a lunatic. He hopped back and watched Kounoa fall into madness. Bou roared and jumped at Raiser. Her fists grew into giant ones as she stretched them out and slammed down on him.
Raiser almost got hit by her attack, but avoided it. Saboten lashed at Raiser with her pink whip at high speeds, but none of the attacks landed on the fox. "I shouldn't be your primary focus, sins!" He called out to them.
Heartbeats passed, and Kounoa's aura exploded, and she let out a painful roar. The explosion knocked everyone onto their feet and foot paws. The surrounding buildings collapsed before them and screaming resounded in the city.
Raiser hopped up. "This is where it all ends!" The fox took out his gun and it transformed into a wizard-like staff. The clear crystal ball on the top of the staff glowed red as he pointed it to Kounoa.
Kounoa stood in place, and Raiser walked over to her. The fox man kissed her on the cheek before laughing.
Kiiroibara climbed out of the rubble she got stuck in. Blood leaked from her head as she stared at Raiser and Kounoa. "We're doomed."
