While I was parking the car I noticed that the party was already in full swing and it on had been 2-3 minutes since the party had started. Weird. Mia must be popular or something.
"Oh my god, there's so many people already." Said Clarissa with wide eyes.
"I know right, let's go." I said before we got out of my car and went towards the entrance. Which was hard to reach since there was a lot people outside. We both pushed trough muttering little 'excuse me' or 'sorry''s if we bumped into someone or needed them to move.
When I finally got inside I already felt annoyed. I hate parties but I agreed all because of Clarissa.
"There's so many people." I complained. I wanted to get out.
"Shut up, will you? You're going to enjoy it. Let's go and get drinks." She smiled.
I sighed. She wasn't going to let me go home for sure but I still nodded before following her to the drinking bar Mia apparently had in her house. Wow, she's rich.
After I finally got my drink I was hesitating to drink it. It's been so long since I drank. I was kind of scared. What if something happened. Then I noticed Clarissa was staring at me.
"What?" I asked.
"Drink it. C'mon Lucy!" She encouraged. She had already drank her's right when she got it which showed that she actually wanted to be here and have fun. I didn't. I might have had fun getting ready for this party, as I always do, but once I actually get to a party all I want to do is go back in bed.
"Lucy..." I snapped out of my thoughts when fingers were snapped in front my face.
"Yes?" I looked at her.
"First of all, drink your shot. Second of all, what were you thinking about?" She asked all in one breath.
I finally took the little glass and quickly gulped it all and closed my eyes tightly as the sour taste burned my throat.
"What were you thinking about?" She asked again, curiously.
"Nothing special." I smiled.
"Let's dance." I finally said. I needed to have fun. I stood up and pulled her with me to the dance floor and started dancing.
Halfway a trough te dancing I got thirsty again so I went to get another drink. Clarissa had disappeared with a guy who I did not know. I ordered 3 shots of vodka just to get more in the ambiance of the party. If that made sense. Once I drank all of it I was feeling more free, if possible. I just wanted to dance all night and I couldn't stop smiling.
While dancing I bumped into someone which made me lose my balance and I almost would have fallen flat on my face if the stranger hadn't gripped my hips.
"Shit, I am so sorry." I apologized right after I turned around, hoping he heard over this loud music. I had to admit he was hot with brown hair and brown eyes. Simple but still hot.
"It was my fault. I'm sorry." He smiled. A few seconds later I noticed his hands were still on my hips so I stared at them until he finally took notice and removed them.
"Sorry," he blushed. "I'm Adam."
"Lucy." I smiled. We kept talking and getting to know each other. He was one of Mia's cousins but he didn't go to our school which was sad. Then he asked me to dance and I obviously didn't deny the offer.
A few songs later, the dancing was turning into grinding and mostly him touching me. Which didn't matter right now since I was drunk. Sober me would never allow this expect it was my boyfriend.
"Want to go upstairs?" He asked all of a sudden while nibbling on my earlobe. I shivered at the movement but nodded.
Adam took my hand and led me to the stairs of the house. While he was taking me I was only concentrated on staring at his back. He was so hot. It was a bad decision to do that. I once again bumped into someone.
What is it me with me and bumping into people at this party?
"Sorry." I simply said without looking up. All of a sudden, the person grabbed my wrist. I quickly looked up.
"Lucy." Jack. What was he doing here?
Adam stopped walking once he realized I wasn't walking anymore.
"What happened baby?" He said to me which made me cringe. Why, I don't know. Maybe because he said it in front of Jack.
"Who's he?" Jack flared at Adam.
"Who are you?" Adam asked back with equal harshness.
"Lucy is mine." Jack said as he gripped my wrist once again and pulled me into him. Trust me I wanted to go back to Jack so badly but he hurt me too much. I was supposed be to over him but here I am still fawning over him.
"You didn't tell me you had a boyfriend?" Adam asked me.
I was too speechless to even talk but as I was about to Adam just walked away with an angry look on his face.
"What the hell, Jack? What's your problem?" I screamed at him while hitting his chest.
"The guy was obviously trying to take advantage of you. I couldn't let that happen." He said as if nothing was wrong.
"Who cares. I wanted to have fun today. Everybody had one night stands. You don't control me anymore, we aren't dating. You are the one who broke up with me." At this point my eyes were welling up with tears. Even drunk I was emotional.
"Baby, please don't cry. I'm sorry. I care about you, a lot. I don't like seeing you with other guys. I regret breaking up with you." He hugged me. I don't know if it was the alcohol but I hugged him back right when some tears slipped down my cheeks.
"Let's go upstairs. I missed you." I nodded as we went upstairs. His hand not leaving my waist.
