I had just gotten home after eating at Alex's house. It was now 1pm. I quickly closed the door as I walked towards the stairs but was stopped by mom, who I didn't except to be home right now.

"Where do you think you're going?" I closed my eyes and muttered a little 'shit' before turning towards her.

"Um, to my room." I said avoiding eye contact with her. I slowly started walking towards the stairs thinking she had let me off the hook but I was wrong.

"Where were you last night? You didn't even call me." She crossed her arms. I thought about it for second I had no choice but to tell her I couldn't hide all of this from her.

"I-...um, do you have a minute to listen what's happening with my life or..?" I said sadly. If she didn't have a minute right now she didn't deserve to know what was happening in my life. This was the last chance I was giving her. I know I sounded rude but if anyone was in my place they would do the same thing.

"Sure sweetie," she sighed. I was shocked. I didn't expect this at all but I was glad she was trying. I sat down on the dining table in the kitchen and she did the same.

"Ok so I'll tell you everything from the start and please don't interrupt me I know all of this was expected for you to happen but not to me." I begged and she nodded smiling a little. So I started explaining the whole thing from the start; how Jack broke up with me, I needed to forget to I went to a club and met Alex but not the going on a date with him part. I don't think that was necessary. At the end I was crying again thinking about him; Jack.

"I told you so! He was gonna break your heart but no you didn't listen to me." Honestly this was what I expected from her I knew she wasn't gonna comfort me but she was gonna tell me this is all my fault.

"I am so done with this." I stood up angrily from the chair and ran upstairs not listening to her anymore.

I walked outside on the porch still crying and did the usual which is getting high.

After about an hour, I was completely wasted and didn't know what to do. I was laughing for no reason and wanted to talk to someone so I picked up my phone. I don't know why I did the next thing I did but I called Jack.

"Lucy?" Was the first thing he said. I was kinda shocked he still had my number.

"Oh hey Jack," I slurred before giggling.

"Are you drunk?" He sounded shocked.

"High but it's the same thing no?" I laughed again. I found it so funny that he was worried.

"Where are you?"

"Why do you care jerk?" I was so mad at him of why I cared all of sudden. I was so moody right now and I don't know why but I really didn't care since he deserved my bitchiness, if that was a word.

"I-I...can you just-" he stuttered like he didn't know what to say.

"Fuck you asshole!" I cut off the phone and threw it on my bed before I broke down crying and the headache I had this morning because of the hangover slowly started appearing again. My phone started ringing but I put it on silent and went to my bathroom to shower but before I took my night suit. As I sat down on the bathroom I groaned. I just realized I had started my period.

"Why?" I muttered to myself. I felt like laughing again. At least it explained why I so moody. While showering I sang as loud as I could while giggling every now and then. I knew I was gonna regret getting high but I really didn't care right now. I got out of the shower putting on my clothes. It was only 4:47pm and I didn't want to sleep I dialed Alex's number since I felt a bit sober.

"Hey Lucy."

"Hey Alex, what are you up to?" I asked while sitting down on my bed. I was scared if I disturbed him.

"Nothing, just at home watching tv. You?"

"Did I disturb you?" I said nervously.

"No, I was also bored." He laughed.

"Do you think I can come over?" I laughed. After he had said 'absolutely' we had fought for a good 10 minutes of if I would drive there or he would pick me up and or course he won. Now I was waiting for him in my room and I decided to put a few pads in my purse and change clothes into something decent that consisted of denim shorts with a loose white shirt that had lace at the top and finished with gladiators. My hair was in a simple ponytail. Right as I got done with my hair I got a text from Alex saying he was downstairs I texted him a simple 'ok' before running down the stairs ignoring my mom but failing since she called my name as she saw me.

"Lucy can you come here?"

"Yes?" I sighed annoyed.

"Look sweetie I'm really sorry I didn't all of what I said before. I-"

"Honestly mom it's fine. I have to go now I'll be back later tonight or something."

"Be safe." She sighed defeated before going back to doing her office work and as usual dad wasn't home. I quickly walked towards Alex's door and smiled at him as I sat down in the passenger seat.

"What don't I get a kiss?" He pouted. I giggled before kissing his cheek.

"It's enough for now." He winked before he started driving. While driving I got a huge pain in my stomach realizing it was period cramps.

"Fuck." I groaned.

"Is everything okay?" He looked towards me worriedly. I just nodded.

"You sure?" These questions were staring to annoy me so without thinking I snapped

"Yes, god!" After a second I realized what I said. "Sorry, I didn't mean that. It's just it's that time of the month..." I blushed.

"It's okay." He chuckled. After a minute we reached his house and he parked the car.

"And thanks for bringing back my car." I smiled at him.

"It's nothing." He smiled and got out of the car. I did the same. I walked towards his house with him by my side.
