JUST ONE MORE DAY... (H.S)

Ben dropped us back home. Spending time outside has exhausted me. I open the door and place my sandals in. Maybe I should take a nap and clean up my room. Harry plops on the couch, resting his eyes. I take myself to the room and shower, put on clothes and head down. I see Harry same as before, he might have slept unknowingly. I don't wanna wake him up, but the couch looks uncomfortable for him. So I shake his shoulder and call out his name softly. He wakes up confused.

"You slept on the couch, go to your room and sleep", I tell him. He nods and yawns, rubbing his eyes a bit. He gets up and takes his backpack, heads to the stairs.

"Ellie, can you send me the picture we took at the restaurant", he asks.

"Sure, do you want a soft or hard copy?", I ask him.

"A hard copy would be nice, I want to frame it", he says.

"Okay, we'll get it tomorrow while going to the mart", I tell him, "You better go now and sleep, looks like you'll pass out on the stairs", I say chuckling.

He hums, "Ya, okay. Can you wake me up for dinner". I nod and hum.

He goes up and I hear him close his door. I better take a nap too, I could try. I go up and lay on the bed and suddenly I don't feel exhausted anymore. I take my camera and send the photos into my laptop. I select Ben and Jennie's and send it to her mail. They might frame few of them. I couldn't sleep for the next 30 minutes and look at the time, it's 4:45pm. We came back at 4, after spending more time at the restaurant. I get up deciding to clean up my mess. I fold the clothes and place them in the closet, organise my table and set all the paints and brushes in the shelf. By the time I am done it's almost 6. I am still not exhausted. I go down and make myself a coffee and eat some biscuits. After that I make a list of groceries and pantry things. It's 6:45, and I am so bored. I am in my thoughts on what should I do to exhaust myself and sleep. I see Harry walking into the kitchen who came down to have water.

"You're bored", he asks me. I sigh loudly.

"Yes, I couldn't sleep too. I think the adrenaline hasn't worn off from the beach", I tell him.

"We can watch a movie, you can invite Ben and Jennie", he says. Why didn't I think of that before. I call Jennie.

Me:..... Hey, do you wanna watch a movie with us. We could order in pizzas too.

Jennie: Okay, haven't watched a movie for a long time. We'll be there in 10.

Me: okay, see ya.

I cut the call, "They are coming in 10. I'll order pizza, why don't you select a movie?", I tell him.

"On it", he says and goes to the living room.

By the time I order, they are here with a wine bottle.

"A movie night without wine, doesn't make sense", Ben says showing me the bottle.

"I have wine too, same as this one", I tell him looking at the bottle.

"Well, I don't want to drink something which you have spiked. Who knows, you would take one of my kidneys and sell them", he says twisting his mouth too much.

"Damn it, how did you know", I whine out.

"I am a psycho too, loser", he says showing out his tongue. I do the same.

"Alright, stop with the bantering", Jennie stops us and pulls Ben in.

I get a blanket for myself and Jennie. And sit down beside Harry who is still choosing a movie.

"Is Marvel alright?", he looks at us. I nod, Ben gives a thumb's up, and Jennie hums. We decide on Iron Man trio. 15 minutes into the movie the bell rings. I guess it's the pizza, I pay and get it in. I look at Ben and Jennie, snuggled up and watching the movie curiously.
