The morning sun streamed through the window as I prepared for a day that felt full of promise. Our class got cancelled today but Ben planned to meet at a cafe, and I could hardly wait to tell Jennie and Ben about our date. The excitement bubbled in me like a fizzy drink, ready to burst.

“Hey, you’re up early!” Harry said as he walked into the kitchen, ruffling his hair and wearing that adorable sleep-worn look. He made his way to the coffee machine, and the smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, making everything feel even cozier.

“I woke up probably at around 5 I guess. I had a dream about our night,” I admitted, my cheeks flushing slightly at the memory of the beach, the stars, and the warmth of his hand in mine. “I’m so glad we’re going to meet Jennie and Ben later. I want to tell them everything!”

Harry chuckled, leaning against the counter. “I’m looking forward to it too. I think they’ll be just as excited as we are.”

I quickly prepared a simple breakfast, stealing glances at Harry as he sipped his coffee, his eyes focused on me with that sweet intensity that always made me feel butterflies in my stomach.

After we finished eating, I grabbed my phone to send Jennie a quick message about our plans. I couldn’t wait to see their reactions!

A few hours later, we met Jennie and Ben at a cute little café that had just opened nearby. The atmosphere was perfect, filled with laughter and the smell of pastries. As soon as I spotted them, my heart raced with excitement.

“There they are!” I whispered to Harry, nudging him playfully. He grinned back, clearly as eager as I was.

“Hey! You guys!” Jennie exclaimed as we approached their table. Her face lit up, and I could see the curiosity dancing in her eyes.

“Hey!” Ben added, his smile infectious. “How was your date?”

“Perfect!” I exclaimed, unable to contain my excitement. I sat down beside Harry, and he reached for my hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. It felt like we were both wrapped in a little bubble of happiness.

“Tell us everything!” Jennie urged, leaning forward, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

I glanced at Harry, who nodded encouragingly. “Okay, so we started at the beach...”

As I recounted the story of our picnic, the stars above us, and the way Harry had held my hand, I could see the joy spreading across their faces. Every detail felt like a treasured memory I wanted to share.

“Aw, that’s so sweet!” Jennie cooed, her smile wide. “I’m so glad you two had a great time!”

“Right? And he said he wants to keep doing this—every day!” I added, unable to suppress my grin. Harry’s cheeks turned a slight shade of pink, but he looked genuinely happy.

“That’s what I like to hear!” Ben said, giving Harry a playful nudge. “You better take good care of her, mate.”

Harry laughed, the sound warm and genuine. “I plan to. Trust me.”

After we finished our recounting of the night, the conversation shifted to Ben. He looked a little nervous, fidgeting with his drink. “Actually, I have something to share too,” he said, glancing between us.

“What is it?” I asked, intrigued.

“My dance group, TXT, has been selected for a K-pop contest!” he announced, his excitement spilling over. “I just got a text when we arrived here. We’ve been working so hard, and this is a huge opportunity for us!”

“Ben, that’s amazing!” Jennie exclaimed, clapping her hands and hugging him. “I knew you guys would get noticed! You’re all so talented!”

I felt my heart swell with pride for him. “You deserve this! I can’t wait to see you perform. You’ve worked so hard for it!”

Ben grinned, clearly buoyed by our enthusiasm. “Thanks, guys! We’re really going to put our hearts into it. It’s a big deal for us.”

Harry chimed in, “If you need an audience to practice, we’re there! We’ll cheer you on.”

“Absolutely!” I agreed, my heart racing at the thought of supporting my friends.

As the four of us talked and laughed, sharing dreams and aspirations, the café felt like our little world. I could feel the warmth of friendship surrounding us, and I knew this was just the beginning of many more shared moments.

The afternoon passed in a blur of laughter, plans, and excitement. With every story shared and every dream voiced, I realized how lucky I was to have these people in my life—especially Harry. The way he looked at me, the way he made everything feel so special, made me feel like I was exactly where I was meant to be.

As we wrapped up our time together, I felt a deep sense of gratitude. I squeezed Harry’s hand under the table, my heart fluttering at the thought of what lay ahead for us, together. Whatever came next, I was ready to face it, with him by my side.
