Seb lay awake that night, he struggled to sleep knowing anything and anyone could be around. His gun was in his hand, firmly held. He turned to his left to see Daniel sitting there, his eyes open though he still stared off. He walked over and knelt down beside him.
"Daniel? Why are you still awake?" The German questioned, the man didn't respond but looked towards him. It was kind of creepy... The Australain's words were muffled, it sounded more like an eerie hum or a silent, distorted scream. Though a weird smile sat on Daniel's face. Seb blinked for a second and suddenly Daniel's hand gripped around his throat and began choking him. He tried to scream, it was quiet but hopefully loud enough to wake someone up. He felt his body begin to lose air and his eyes roll to the back of his head as he began to lose consciousness. Then before his eyes shut he saw Charles punch Daniel to get him off and pin him to the ground. Sebastian fell backwards and lay on the floor unconscious.
Charles held Daniel to the ground, the guy struggled and tried to fight back but he still looked zoned out. Something was wrong but he didn't know what. He yelled for help to wake someone else up. Surely they weren't all deep sleepers. Max jolted awake and frowned, waking up Carlos as the two walked over and helped Charles pin Daniel down securely before finding a rope and tying his hands behind his back and his ankles firmly together.
"What's wrong with him? And what happened to Seb? Is he alive?" Several questions fell out of Max's mouth as he worriedly spoke. A weird smile still sat on Daniel's face as he rocked to and fro.
"I don't know, Daniel choked him, yes." Charles responded as he examined Daniel. Carlos lay Seb down on the sleeping bag they had stuffed somewhere. The Monegasque had a worried expression resting on his face as he pressed the back of his hand against the Aussie's forehead, he definitely had a temperature and looked sickly pale. A nervous murmur escaped his lips. He wondered if he had been infected but there were no bites so it wasn't possible... he was so confused on what was that matter with him though. It would remain a mystery until they sorted Seb out and waited for the sun to rise. They would have to tell everyone else too or they may be confused as to why Daniel was tied up.
