Shots Fired

Seb signalled for the others to whip out their guns (except Lando of course who nobody trusted to have a gun) and called for Lando to help him take Mick and Daniel into the other room. He didn't want injured people to be in the midst of a fight if he resulted to that.

Carlos paid attention to each footstep that echoed through the cold chamber, waiting for the figure to finally appear in sight. It felt as if time was frozen. Or the guy was being slow for suspense. Though he hated how each footstep seemed delayed. It reminded him of a zombie. Oh. It suddenly struck him. That person was a zombie... it was not the guy they were chasing down earlier. He didn't know how he knew but he just did.
"That's a zombie!" Carlos called out but it was too late. It entered the room and lunged at Lewis, sinking its teeth into his neck and ripping out flesh. His eyes widened. Oh dear God. The zombie let out a scream and he recognised it. Not Lance! Lance had just killed Lewis. He was in shock, he just fired everything he had at the former Aston Martin driver. The guy fell to the ground and was finally gone. They had to kill Lewis properly before he became a zombie too. Carlos held his breath and he fired a shot into Lewis' chest.
"Lo siento, amigo." (I'm sorry, friend.) The Spaniard choked out before sighing and walking to the room Sebastian, Daniel, Mick and Lando were in. They all looked confused, except Daniel who was still staring at nothing. Pierre and Max followed after him whilst Charles stared at Lewis' motionless body. Blood seeped out of his mouth and the monegasque sat and watched as the life faded out of the guy. He couldn't watch.
Lewis stared at Charles, a bright light taking over as his eyes closed and his body went limp. The last thing he saw was his friend sobbing over his aching body.

Seb looked to Carlos, Pierre and Max, a frown on his face as the three looked quite distraught.
"Lance killed Lewis." Pierre choked out, "He was a zombie, Carlos had to kill Lewis before he got infected..." The Frenchman murmured, fiddling with his finger nervously. Seb looked furious but moreover broken, "Go and see his body." Max added before the German quickly left the room. Pierre and Max exchanged glances.
"I feel bad for him. We should probably wait here." Lando spoke up. Honestly, everyone had forgotten Lando even existed. Max nodded and sat beside Mick.
"Lance wasn't the one who saved you, we still don't know who it was. But some bad news is that the zombies from Silverstone are definitely escaping. And quite quickly too. We should probably be leaving here sometime soon." Max spoke, noticing Daniel sitting down staring at emptiness before looking back to Mick.
"I hope Seb is alright, Lewis was one of his best friends. I don't think he will get over it anytime soon. I hope he is not mad at Carlos!" Mick commented, almost completely avoiding what Max was talking about.
All everyone could do was sit and wait...
