They walked to his car slowly. He backed out of the driveway. Lydia's eyelids began to get heavy. They finally pulled into the school parking lot.

"Lydia we're here." He whispered, softly nudging her.

She huffed and stepped out of the car alongside him. About a hundred yards ahead, Abigail was waiting for her. She turned to luke and hugged him really quickly.

"I'm sorry I have to meet up with Abigail she's probably wondering what the heck happened to me." She explained quickly.

"Bye. I'll talk to you later, Lydia." He called behind her since she had already jogged ahead. Her heart fluttered yet again at the sound of her name coming out of his mouth.

"What on earth happened with you? I was with cal and when I turned around you were gone. I couldn't find you all week. And then I see you get out of the car with THE Luke hemmings? What is going on?" Abigail questioned.

"I know, I'm sorry. I don't know what is going on with Luke. He acts like he hates me but then says he loves me." She mumbles, looking at her feet and kicking at the ground.

"Well come on let's get to class." Abigail grabbed her arm and dragged her into the school.

Lydia instinctively looked around for Luke. He was no where to be seen. They walked to their lockers and grabbed their books for their next classes.

Just as as she grabbed the last book, someone closed her locker. She turned around to be faced with the boy that confused her most. Luke was towering over her along with the rest of his gang. He gave her a signature smirk and then leaned down to her ear.

"I promise I won't hurt you. I don't want the boys to question anything about us. We can talk or whatever later." He whispered so that the others wouldn't hear. He softly bit her earlobe and then pulled away, earning satisfied looks from the pack of boys watching
