Lydia(left) and Abigail(right)
___________________________
Friday night finally came and that meant they were supposed to head to Calum's. Abigail wore bright red pumps with a white lace dress, matching lips, and her hair cascading in beautiful curls. Lydia wore tipped skinny jeans, a band shirt, and her favorite pair of converse. After about an hour of bickering, Abigail finally got her to give in to straightening her hair and fixing her makeup.

They arrived at a massive house with a magnificent fountain In the front yard. Abigail parked her black convertible in front of the house and sauntered to the door with Lydia struggling behind. Calum opened the door and took Abigail into a huge hug. He guided her through the crowded mass of bodies, losing Lydia behind. She gave up on trying to find them and sat on a couch that was less crowded. All of a sudden, she felt a bump to her shoulder. Luke grinned next to her. She scowled and looked at her clasped hands.
"Hey why are you here?" He laughed.
She looked away with tears brimming in her eyes. He took notice to the gleam in her eyes and his heart immediately broke.
"Hey stop. Don't cry I didn't mean to actually hurt you."
She smacked his arm away when he attempted to embrace her and choked, "I don't need you to make my life worse, thank you."

He stared at her in awe.
"You actually spoke to me. Can we just start over? I know that I can be pretty rude but I think id like to get to know you, Lydia."
Her heart fluttered when he said her name, but she immediately dismissed the feeling and silently nodded. She just didn't want him to hurt her right now.

"Why don't we go on a walk outside? I have a feeling We won't be missed in here." He chuckled and motioned to all the couples hanging on each other like their lives depended on it. She didn't want to be stuck here and she couldn't think of anything worse that could happen, so she simply agreed and followed him to the door.
