The next day at the company, everything was awkward between Y/n and Izana. Izana prayed inside his head that Y/n doesn't know about the incident with Kazuki and Y/n prayed that he won't bring the topic and start asking her questions. It wasn't a normal day between them and they could tell but didn't ask the other what the problem was or anything different, afraid of the answer or the following questions.
However, they tried their best to keep it professional, Y/n helped Izana with anything he needed and Izana would carefully listen to her if she disagrees with something or if something in the schedule changes.

"Y/n?" Izana called her name.
"Yes? Is there something wrong?" she quickly responded.

Please don't bring the Kazuki topic up.

"Why did you came to Japan?" he suddenly asked, trying to somehow make her open up to him, even if he ignored Kazuki's words.
"Like i told you before, I simply missed Japan." she responded, glad that he didn't asked something about Kazuki.
"No, Y/n, the real reason." Izana said looking straight into her eyes.
"That's the real reason." she quickly said.

Oh, fuck.

"Y/n, I wasn't born yesterday and neither were you. For God's sake, who would want to leave a millionaire salary to come to Japan on this shity salary." he snapped at her.
"Look, Izana, that's the real reason. Not everything spins about money if that's what you think of. And no, as a matter of fact, you don't have a shity salary, however it seems like you start to be a shity boss." Y/n said snapped back at him.
"So I'm the shit here?" he looked at her trying to figure out an answer on her face.
"That's not what i meant, and you clearly know it." Y/n said putting one of her arms on her hips.
"Y/n, you start being annoying." he rolled his eyes.

Annoying? Men remain men, no matter what.

"Well, thank you, Kurokawa-san, for enduring me for such a long time. Don't be surprised if in the following days my resignation request will be at your fucking door. Thank you." she walked outside the room.

Once again disappointed by men, she thought only her father was the only asshole in this world, apparently all men are the same. They show interest once and then just be a asshole they usually are.

A strong knock was heard at Izana's office door, followed by some quiet mumbling coming from Izana, without the person behind the door being able to hear it.

"If it's again one of those Haitani brothers, I swear to God that I'll beat the shit out of them." Izana said louding.
"The Haitani's truly messed up this time." Kakucho said entering Izana's office. "I mean they mostly do mess up but I've never saw you like this because of them. Anyways, where is Y/n? I haven't seen her all day long." Kakucho asked out of curiosity, not knowing that they fought or the effect she let on him.
"I don't know. It's not my business anymore." Izana explained leaving Kakucho confused. "The last time, we talked she said she wants to quit this job." Izana explained without looking at Kakucho.
"Huh? What do you mean 'she wants to quit'? Yesterday was all lovely and now you guys just fight and leave. Your love is just a cliché at this point." Kakucho said trying to somehow make Izana realize something.

Love? No, i don't love her. She's my friend, my colleague, my interest, actually no, she was all of that.

"Love? We don't like each other. If she wants to quit i have nothing to do with that. Wait, i will actually fire her myself. Let everyone know that I'm looking for an assistant." Izana quickly said.
"As you wish, however, I'd like to mention that you won't be able to find someone as skilled as she is." Kakucho said before leaving Izana alone in his office.

Fucking Y/n, she does so much demage to me.
