30. Aura

The very next day, the plan was put in place. Techno and I traveled to L'manberg, Phil was close behind, but hidden somewhere for emergencies. They knew we would be attacking, but they obviously didn't know when. The people of L'manberg stood high and mighty opposite us. Some looked scared, some looked determined and some looked angry. Techno turned to me.
"No matter what happens, you will be safe okay?"
I gave him a smile, "Thank you, I am happy to be fighting by your side."

In the distance I saw Tommy and Tubbo. Sapnap stood more to the left. Fundy and Quackity stood on the right.
Tommy gave me a stare, I looked at him with a feeling of melancholy, if he had made the right decision, things would be different. He would be standing here with us. Every voice spoke, shouting, raging, everyone had something to say. However, I stayed silent. A lot was thrown at Techno, which angered me. Especially when Techno and I were in this together.
"Y/n, as soon as the tnt drops, I want you to run, okay?" Techno whispered to me.
I nodded slowly. Looking up i could see the tnt at the ready, any moment it would fall.

And it did.
As though from the heavens it fell from the sky. In an instant I turned to run, looking around for Phil whilst Techno bolted into the action with Dream who had appeared too. The loud explosions pierced my ear drums, almost slipping as the ground gave out beneath me. This was dangerous, yet the thrill was indescribable. Quickly making my way to the top of the hill, I watched in shock, everything was gone in an instant. Everything gone into an abyss of nothingness, just the land it was built on to atone for its memory. However, something felt off, as though the aura surrounding me felt disturbed.
That was until the figure of a familiar but unsettling figure approached me.
"Sapnap get the hell away from me, I won't hesitate to strike you where you stand." I said loudly, projecting my voice finally.
"I am sorry it had to come to this Y/n, you chose the wrong side." He said lowly.

I always knew this time would come, as much as I loathed it, it was meant to happen it seemed in the lights of fate. Fixing my stance, I raised my sword, never looking away from him. He struck first, which I dodged with ease, a rush of adrenaline rushed through me. Our actions always counteracted each other, it seemed that nothing could strike the other. I back myself into a tree, he swung at me, his weapon getting stuck into the trunk of the tree. I kicked him down, which he counteracted by kicking at my feet whilst I was down. I was starting to get impatient.
"Now you are just getting on my nerves." I said between breaths, throwing a throwing knife at his head which just missed his head.
"What a delight." He smirked. The smirk reminded me of when we first met, fucking cocky attitude.
I threw another knife, causing his garment to get stuck to the surface he was behind. I pulled out my bow, aiming it right at him, when I heard a loud voice boom from across the newly made canyon.
"Y/n, Techno, look what I have." I heard Quackity shout.
He had Phil in front of him, a knife to his throat. Phil looked fearful, Techno tried stay calm, but I could tell he was panicking. My heart thundered in my chest, until it finally clicked.

I re-aimed my bow at Sapnap.
"Well Quackity, if you kill Philza, I will kill dear old Sapnap here." I shouted back.
Sapnap darted his head between me and Quackity.
"Do it, I don't give a fuck." Quackity laughed manically, he seemed more manic than usual.
"Quackity what! You can't just abandon me!" Sapnap pleaded making my heart sink a little.
"You are only of use to me sometimes Sapnap, I thought you knew that already!" Quackity said without an ounce of remorse.
With the distraction of their quarrel in mind, I made my way around, sneaking away. I gave Techno a look to distract them whilst I made my way to Quackity.

As I crept towards him I noticed the chaos going on down below. But that wasn't on my list of priorities... just yet.
Without another moment in thought I grabbed my knife, plunged it into Quackity's shoulder making him drop his knife, yelling in pain. Pulling out the knife I turned to Phil who gave me a grateful look.
"Go Phil I got this." I shouted above all the noise.
He nodded, fleeing which turned me to my next target. As he got back on his feet, gripping his shoulder, he gave me a almost fearful but angry look.
He smirked at me, a contraption in his hand.
"God this has been a rollercoaster isn't it, you didn't think I would have a back up plan did you?"
My eyes widened. I traced to where he was looking, a bundle of unexploded tnt sat below multiple large boulders.
"Say your final goodbyes." He laughed continuously as he slid off the cliff. A click sound echoed in my ear.
As I looked up, for all the running I had did my whole life, for all the escaping and for all the fighting, I was stuck in place, watching as the large objects fell, the explosion making my ears ring.
Suddenly, all this pent up anger fuelled me, as though it had been kept away for many years, a strong god like aura surrounded me.

Techno's pov

As I fought off a few appointments, I turned to Y/n, my eyes widened, as I yelled in desperation. The boulders fell towards her, she didn't move a muscle.
"Y/N!" I yelled out. A bright white light obscured my vision.
As I heard the boulders fall, for once, it felt as though the whole world went silent.
Opening my eyes, I couldn't believe what stood before me.
A godly figure hovered above her, a spread of white angelic wings cast upon her causing a shadow to spread. She was unharmed. This being's lock cloak had inscriptions attached to it, Greek maybe, possibly Roman. His face was hidden behind a mask, which oddly resembled that of Dream's mask. Except this being surrounded everything with such an aura that silenced everyone. She stood there, looking up at the godly figure, who gazed at her intently. I wanted to move, I wanted to run, but I just couldn't. Phil looked at me, he seemed just as confused as I was. Our eyes casted over to Dream who's mouth was slightly ajar, in utter shock.
I saw her mouth move, as though responding to it, but no voice was ever uttered out of its godly stature.

Y/n's pov

As I braced for impact, I realised no harm befell on me. Slowly I opened my eyes, a great floating creature stood before me. It's godly stature hovered above me before slowly floating down to my level. His tall stature was far from anything I had ever seen.
"Now now, no need to be alarmed." His voice echoed, as though it was in my head.
"Who... are you?" I questioned softly.
"That isn't the concern of this moment brave one."
"Why are you here?" I tried another question.
"Your bravery, as sheer will to save the ones you love is what I see, a strong loyal heart shines through your aura. I knew I couldn't see you die just yet young one. It was not your time." He responds.
"I- Thank you,"
"What do you truly desire?" He asked me, he leaned in closer to me.
"Well, I want the people who hurt the people I care about to be punished, and for the people I love to be safe."
"I will give you free rein to do that, but remember by aura will always be here to guide you."
He placed a hand on me, a surge of energy surrounded me, a feeling of my eyes shutting enclosed me.
I looked to see Techno, Sapnap, Dreams and Phil all making there way to me. I turned again as the godly figure dissipated into thin air.

As all this processed in my mind, the world went black around me, as though my body couldn't handle such pressure.
