The Shirt

(Ichika's POV)

The classroom was as lively as ever. Not a day did it ever go quiet or miserable. The girls always found a way to brighten up the classroom and keep the room full of life in one way or another. Smiles throughout the classroom remained as each clique of girls talking to each other.

Today of course was a very special day for different reasons to the young teenager known as Ichika Orimura.

It was the only day in the year where IS students were allowed to wear their own clothes to lessons.

Ichika being Ichika of course decided to wear his usual clothes which consisted of skinny black denim jeans, a nice pair of shoes, and a hoodie which he tightened the end of. Ichika did not want to wear anything too flashy or too different from his own style so he stuck to what he knew best.

'I wonder what possessed them to come to class in a onesie? Although she does look pretty cute...'

Ichika kept an eye on his silver-haired German friend at the front of the class as she talked with Rin and Charlotte about something he was not allowed to be involved in.

Charlotte and Laura had almost come in as a pair today and like the other girls in his classroom who were different things, they stood out uniquely. The two wore onesies that had cat ears once the hoodie was over their heads.

Laura was wearing a silver onesie that matched her hair.

Charlotte was wearing an orange onesie to match her hair also.

A few of the other girls had popped into the classroom to see Ichika himself earlier on in the morning. Tatenashi was one of them who wore a cosplay of an anime she quoted to be from "Highschool DXD" or whatever it was.

Ichika had heard of the name before but had never considered giving it a chance before Tatenashi mentioned she was cosplaying a character from it.

"Ichika-san~"

"Ichika..."

"Ichika!"

"Ichika."

Ichika was snapped out of his daze by several of his friends calling his name out while standing right in front of him. He wondered how long they had been there calling his name.

"Sorry... Yes?" Ichika blinked repeatedly.

"We were just talking... What do you prefer? A movie night where we get tons of snacks and a ton of movies to watch late into the night or bowling with Honne and the other girls?" Rin placed her hands on her hips and waited for a response.

Ichika thought deeply. 'Me and Chifuyu-nee used to go bowling a lot so I'm pretty good at that but a movie night sounds fun too...'

"I think movie night would suit us in my opinion because we all have not gotten to hang out as a group of friends together and watch TV together. I do think we should wait for Houki's opinion first before we make any decision."

"Has she not come to class yet? I thought Miss Orimura sensei said that she would only be out for the first two classes! How unfair!" Cecilia felt a little jealous of Houki being able to skip lessons.

"Not only is she a boob Zilla she can also get out of some lessons too?!" Rin huffed and puffed as she felt jealous of her friend.

"Now you two, she isn't clearly trying to get out of these lessons on purpose. She is merely doing what is being asked of her by the teachers." Charlotte became the voice of reason.

"I agree with Charlotte." Ichika paused for a moment. "Houki has never been the type of girl as I can remember who would just duck out of class without a reason. My sis- I mean Orimura sensei would just allow that."
