This is my first time on a plane, ever. I sit by Shawn, an open seat on the outside. He lets me get the window seat which I find fascinating.
I start to feel tired even though I feel like I've just woke up.
I get out a book and start reading while listening to some Ariana Grande. As I'm reading, a thought crosses my mind.
I take out an ear bud and look at Shawn, then nudge him.
He looks at me and smiles, "yeah what?" He asks obviously about to fall asleep.
"You wouldn't oppose me liking any of these boys would you? I mean, you don't have to be fond of it- I mean I'm not even saying I'm going to like any of them- but you shouldn't have a problem with whoever I like.."
He blinks a few times, thinking.
"I just want you to know, most of them- there's only like 10- are big ass fuckboys. Plus I don't think any of them are your type," he says strongly.
I crack a smile, "my type?"
He shrugs, "yeah. Plus the only one near your age is Hayes. The others are either my age or older," he says.
I sigh and put back in my headphones, looking at the clouds beneath us out the window. I think about what LA is going to be like, too. Fun, scary, awkward. I really don't know hah.

After the long plane ride, we land in LAX. After Taylor, Matt, Shawn and I grab all our luggage, we see who Shawn said was Cameron and Nash.
They all hug and I just stand there awkwardly not knowing what to do. Afer the taller, blue eyed one hugs Shawn, he looks at me and smiles.
"This must be Ally. Hi, I'm Nash and this is Cam," he says and points from him, to the other boy who's just a bit shorter than Nash.
I smile at both of them, then look at Shawn. He smiles, then turns to Cam and Nash.
"Let's get to the house, meet everyone else," he says and we start walking to the parking garage.
I trail behind the six boys who are talking about recent experiences. Then I notice Nash fall back, so we walk side by side. No one really seems to notice but me.
I look forward but feel his bright blue eyes on me, then feel my cheeks heat up.
He laughs, "you look much older than what Shawn says you are. 14. Damn," he says.
I turn my head and let a fake laugh escape my mouth.
"Yeah. I'm almost fifteen in a few months though.." I say awkwardly.
We reach the garage so all we hear is the echoes of the boys' laughs in front of Nash and I.
"Your a cutie, though," he says.
Why do I hear that so often now? Well not very often, just by Taylor, Matt and now Nash. Who knows, maybe Cameron thinks I'm a cutie too.
My cheeks slightly heat up again, and I smile for real. Compliments are always a joy.
"Thank you."
We reach a black vehicle and pile in. I sit next to Shawn, but neither of us have much to say, really. I just stare out the window at the sun slowly going down over the horizon.
When I first see the beach, I smile like an idiot. I've never visited a beach, ever. Most kids my age do, or have, but not me.
I think Shawn's noticed my excitement towards the ocean. He nudges my shoulder.
