A month went by.
The six became more frank with each other and always ate out at Sunshine, telling each other about their day. Jungkook still addressed Taehyung as sir in office. But outside of work, he called him by his name. It was awkward at first, but they soon got comfortable.
Taehyung's chest wound also got fully healed. He and Jungkook started becoming more frank, as they spent most of their day together. As Taehyung's manager, Jungkook was always running around. Ji Cheng sometimes glared at him, but Jungkook shrugged it away.
And something great also happened.
Jimin's song, Promise, hit #1 on all music charts all over the world. The song's music video reached almost a billion views under just two days. He was getting interview calls, collaboration calls and much more. His office phone couldn't stop ringing. He was so elated and happy, that he couldn't stop talking about it. And the others liked it. They were happy for his success.
Taehyung had played the song out loud in his house, his office and in his car. He even got it as his ringtone. "It's an excuse to not pick up anyone's call. As I'll be enjoying the song", he had said.
So, they had decided to throw Jimin a surprise congratulations party. It was such a great news.
And the five were at Sunshine, planning his party. Of course, they had sent Jimin on errands. Taehyung was the mastermind. "Jimin, I want to eat my favourite food from the restaurant we used to go to when we were little", he had said in a cutesy voice. Jimin had laughed, but was suspicious. "Why, all of a sudden?" Taehyung pouted and Jimin laughed. "Okay, fine. It's cringey, so stop" Taehyung chuckled. "And also, can you pick up my clothes from the dry cleaners at the highway?"
"But they're so far away. I thought you didn't used their service anymore?", Jimin said.
"Eh, I thought why not"
Jimin sighed. "Fine"
"So, what's the plan?", Jin said, putting a slice of garlic bread in his mouth. "At least stop eating when planning", Yoongi said. The others chuckled. "I can't", Jin said, his mouth full.
"Okay, so we don't have to plan something big. We'll just decorate our private lounge here at Sunshine", Namjoon said. They had heard that most people want their private spaces, so they usually have a permanent spot booked. So, Jin had booked a large, luxurious lounge for the rest of their eatings. Yes, Sunshine Restaurant was a damn big restaurant. You could almost call it a hotel, but it wasn't a hotel.
"Sounds good", Taehyung said. "Do we need to invite his parents?", Jungkook asked. NamJin and Taehyung fell silent. Yoongi was puzzled. "Does Jimin not talk with his parents anymore or something?" Taehyung shook his head. "Don't ask him ever for details, but he actually lost his parents when he was a child. He was born in Busan, but came to Ddaegu to live with his maternal aunt, then came here to Seoul, bought a large mansion after earning enough money", he said.
