The next day, at 8 pm in the evening, Taehyung put on a half-sleeved green suit with matching pants and full-sleeved white shirt, and looked in the mirror. He smiled slightly to himself.
He was feeling a bit better since this morning, when he felt like he just wanted to curl up in a ball and die. But Jungkook had told him to get up and go to work. "You'll feel better. I promise", he had said.
And Taehyung had felt better. Even if a little.
He picked up the gift for Jimin. He had told his driver Dan to take a day off today, because he wanted to drive himself.
He started the car and drove to Yoongi's house to pick up Jungkook. After a while, he reached their house. He parked his car in the driveway and walked towards the mansion. He rang the doorbell and Jungkook opened the door.
Taehyung couldn't take his eyes off of Jungkook.
Jungkook was wearing a brown, checkered suit jacket with blue jeans and a white shirt. The first two buttons were undone, showing his chest. His dark brown hair looked soft as velvet, the bangs falling till his eyebrows.
Taehyung literally gulped as Jungkook took a step forward.
Their eyes met, and Taehyung was sure his heart melted.
He ran a hand through his raven hair, feeling shy.
"Thanks. Come in, I just need to grab my gift", Jungkook said.
They duo went inside. "Has Yoongi left?", Taehyung asked, looking around the big house though he had already been here several times.
"Yeah, he left half an hour ago. I hope he keeps Jimin busy enough and gets him to Sunshine on time"
They arrived at the party. Namjoon and Jin were already there, talking to Hoseok. They had also invited him because he had helped them so much and they liked him.
"Ah, hyungs, you look awesome", Taehyung said. Jin was wearing a brown suit with white shirt and a purple tie, while Namjoon wore a lavender suit with white shirt. Hoseok was wearing a violet suit with white shirt. Apparently, everyone seemed to love the white shirt.
"Thanks, TaeTae. Now let's make sure everything's ready. Jimin will come in a while", Jin said. "Yes, Yoongi called", Hoseok said. "Why don't you make sure everything's ready?", Namjoon said to Taehyung and Jungkook. Jungkook chucked. "Were you waiting for us to do the work?" They all laughed.
Jungkook went to see the decorations while Taehyung headed over to the food table. Taehyung was setting candles on the cake and putting it on the big centre table.
Seeing him alone, Jungkook walked towards him casually.
