Taehyung adjusted his mask as he stepped out of the airport.

He took a deep breath. The air somehow felt different. Familiar. Like home.

He called a cab and got on it, telling the address of a park near his home. He didn't want the news to get out that he wasn't in Seoul for a year and things like that. The atmosphere might be getting better, but he still had to reclaim his place by doing what he does.

Taehyung looked out of the cab as they drove. He smiled. Everything was the same as he had left it.

They soon reached the park. Taehyung paid the driver, and stepped out of the cab.

The park where he had called Jungkook, after he had met his brother after so many years.

He smiled, and turned around, taking the street to his house. He looked at the trees while walking, breathing their oxygen in. It was 5 in the evening, and the sun was about to set.

He reached his house, quickly unlocked the main door, and entered his home.

It was the same.

Not even a speck of dust. He figured his friends might've cleaned it regularly. Afterall, they all had spare keys of each of their houses.

Taehyung put down his luggage in the living room, and slumped on the couch. He was so tired from the flight. He glanced at the clock on the wall. It was nearly time for his friends to come home from work.

But what did Jungkook do these days? Had he found some other job? No, that couldn't be.

His eyelids started drooping, his head felt heavy. He was so, so tired. But he wanted to see them. Talk to them.

The room blurred as his eyes closed.

.........

Taehyung's eyes opened, seeing the familiar ceiling of his room.

How did he get here?

His head faintly ached. He still needed more sleep. And he needed to go to the bathroom.

He tried to lift the blanket off of him, but he felt something weigh it down. He looked down to see Jungkook sleeping, his head resting on the blanket.

K-Kook!

He looked at the time; it was 11 in the night! What was he doing here so late?

Taehyung reached out a hand, touching Jungkook's soft hair.

His body shifted, and Taehyung retreated his hand quickly. He didn't want to wake him up.

Kookie, how have you been?

He gazed at him, memorising all the curves and lines of his face once again. I missed you.

Suddenly, his eyes burst open, looking straight at Taehyung.

Taehyung blushed. "H-Hi...", he stammered, flustered. Jungkook straightened, his hair messy, his lips swollen. Taehyung stared at them, wanting to kiss and suck them.

"Hi", Jungkook said huskily. He stood up. "Let me get you something to eat. You must be still tired" Taehyung watched him go and come back with sliced strawberries.

"Here" Taehyung took the plate and started eating, still looking at Jungkook, who gazed back at him.

"H-How are you?", Jungkook whispered.

"I...I'm good. How are you-"

Jungkook crashed his body into his, hugging him tightly.

"Kook..."

Drops fell on his shoulder, and Taehyung stroked Jungkook's hair.

"I've...m-missed you so fucking much", Jungkook whispered, crying.

"M-Me too, baby"

Their lips met as soon as Jungkook heard the word.

He cupped Taehyung's face, kissing him. Taehyung kissed back, grabbing the back of Jungkook's head. It had been a long while since they had felt each other, and their hands roamed on each other's bodies.

They parted, panting. Jungkook held Taehyung's hand, kissing it all over. "Tell me everything", he whispered.

So Taehyung did. He told him about Eun, about their "romance", about him sending a mental hospital to get him. About him getting better.

Jungkook shook off his slippers, and came to sit beside Taehyung on the bed.

He rested his head in his shoulder, linking arms. "I'm just glad you got through it"

"Aren't you mad about Eun?"

Jungkook shook his head, chuckling. "No, I understand. He was a coping mechanism. But still you shouldn't have done that", he said, pinching his waist.

Taehyung yelped, chuckling. "I'm sorry, Kook, I really am. But he looked like...you. I couldn't keep my emotions in check"

Jungkook nodded, kissing him on the lips, then pecking them. "Baby, it's over. It's the past. Everything is in the past now"

Taehyung nodded, rubbing Jungkook's arms.

"Also, Cheng and William are in a very secure jail", Jungkook said.

Taehyung straightened, sitting up. "What?! What do you mean?"

Jungkook chuckled, telling him about how they conspired the incident, and were caught.

Taehyung slumped back, processing all the information. "Wow. Namjoon hyung should really become a detective instead of a lawyer" Jungkook laughed, resting a hand on Taehyung's chest.

"Will you...meet them?"

It was a few moments before Taehyung answered. "I...I have to. I need to make things right...I'm sorry for all the things I said to you before leaving, Kook"

"Hey, don't apologise. You were not well"

Taehyung smiled. "Still. I said really bad things"

Jungkook hit his chest playfully. "Stop, before I punish you"

Taehyung smirked, lifting his body on top of his. "Yeah? Why don't I punish you for wanting to punish me?"

Jungkook laughed. "What the fuck?!" Taehyung chuckled deeply. "By the way, why did you come at night?"

"You mean I shouldn't have?"

"Shut up, you know what I mean", Taehyung chuckled.

Jungkook grinned. "I don't know. My gut said to come here. And I obeyed it"

Taehyung laughed, kissing him. "I love your gut"

"Do you love me?"

They looked into each other's eyes.

Falling in love once more. They didn't know why and how they survived so long without each other.

They fell in love all over again, like meeting for the first time.

They made a silent promise. This time, I'll never leave you. This time, we will be together always.

"I love you."
