After Jungkook had left Taehyung alone in the garden:
Jungkook rushed back to his room, quietly opening and closing the door. He laid down on the bed, covering himself with the blanket. He recalled what had happened in his mind.
He didn't mean to hurt Taehyung. That month was the happiest in his life, but he hadn't realised that their small escape from reality was becoming something more. Something truer.
His body had felt it, had responded to whatever feeling Taehyung had arose in him. But it wasn't meant to be. They were best friends, yes, but not lovers. The line shouldn't be toed.
As he thought about it more and more, he realised he couldn't be with Taehyung. In any way. It would jeopardise his career. He had heard of celebrities who had not survived being homosexuals.
Partially, he was doing this because he didn't want to disappoint Yoongi. Didn't want to betray the trust. And partially, he was doing this because of Taehyung. Jungkook knew Taehyung loved his music and acting. He would never do anything that made Taehyung lose this wonderful thing which made him happy.
So he allowed himself to shed a tear.
For himself. For not being able to love someone.

Yoongi and Jungkook had been watching the sharks and other sea animals. Yoongi noticed Jungkook wasn't paying much attention. "What are you thinking?", he asked. "What? Oh...nothing. Just random thoughts", Jungkook said, startled. "Tell me honestly. I can see it on your face", Yoongi said. Jungkook didn't say anything.
Yoongi sighed. "Hey, I'm like your big brother. Don't hide anything from me", he said, touching Jungkook's arm.
"There's nothing to tell!"
Yoongi stared at Jungkook, who turned his head away. "I'm sorry. I...it's really nothing. Taehyung accidentally kissed me, and I rejected him. That's it", Jungkook confessed. He glanced at Yoongi. He hoped he wouldn't get angry.
Yoongi silently put his arm around him and half smiled. "It's good that you rejected him. But...how do you really feel about him?", he asked. Jungkook spoke what he himself and Yoongi wanted to hear.
"I don't like him that way"

It had been 3 days after they had gone to the ocean centre.
They had visited many other places like the Ke'e Beach, Bishop Museum, Canyon State Park, etc. They had almost visited all the important places, so they decided to spend the last 2 days of their trip at the hotel, just being together and having fun.
Jungkook and Taehyung had succeeded in avoiding each other. They had absolutely no contact in those 3 days. Sometimes, Taehyung tagged along with NamJin and Jungkook with Hoseok and vice versa, as YoonMin also needed their "alone time".
