(Y/n)'s POV
It had been several days since Jin Woo started to do his daily quests, and he had already received a key for a dungeon. He asked me to come along, but I shook my head, saying that he needed to build up his individual strength and level up.
He ended up surviving due to the sword he had gotten from Mr. Song, was it? I couldn't really recall his name as he wasn't much of an important character. I continued to watch as Jin Woo pushed himself to complete his daily quest. Day by day, quests had become easier for him.
"C'mon Jin Woo, you can do it!" I cheered as he continued to do push ups.
He only groaned in response. After this, he and I would have to go outside and run. I followed along with him when he ran to act as a motivator, and I was sure I did quite a good job. As he did his last push up, I waddled over to the other side of the room, already having a cold drink prepared.
He wiped the sweat away from his face, his eyes landed on me, "Why are you doing so much just to help a random stranger?"
"Believe me, you're far from a random stranger," I pleasantly chuckled. I'm only doing this to complete this side quest and the fact that you're my favorite overpowered character, yes, even you top Saitama. Oh, and I've also grown unnaturally attached to you the more time I spend with you. Yeah, no, I definitely wasn't going to say what I was thinking out loud. "Sure, we've only been friends for a few days, but we're still friends. Aren't friends meant to help each other?"
"Is it the fact that I'm a... 'player'?" He asked.
"No, it's not because of that. Far from that. The reason why I'm helping you is because I don't want you to die. The path of a 'player' is a dangerous one and like I previously said, we're friends," I explained, handing the refreshments to Jin Woo, who gratefully accepted them.
"But is it really worth the trouble? Of going through all this. You even moved to another country just for the sake of helping me," he pointed out.
"I just like helping people, okay?" Maybe once I know you better, and you trust me more, I'll tell you why I'm actually here. "It's no use pondering why I'm helping you. Why don't we get started with your next exercise? The sooner we finish, the better, right?"
"You're right."
As we jogged by the park, countless journalists and news crews gathered in the park, all for the sake of seeing me, the newly appointed S-Class Hunter. It reminded me of my time back when I was performing live streams. Wherever I went, there was quite a huge amount of people that followed me.
Jin Woo, who ran beside me, didn't have it any better then myself. Microphones were shoved in front of his face. I grumbled in annoyance, this was supposed to be a normal jog. Being famous is hard, you can't do shit without people following you.
Without warning, I scooped Jin Woo up in my arms and teleported to a more deserted location. I didn't know where we were currently, but it was obvious we were on a beach. I looked at the seas with a melancholy look, forgetting to place the male I carried back onto his two feet.
"(Y-Y/n)?" He stuttered, trying to get my attention.
"Oh, sorry, I'll put you down," I apologized. "I just... froze for a second there. Let's continue jogging, yeah?"
"Of course," he nodded, giving me a hesitant side glance.
I picked up my pace. To Jin Woo, it seemed like I was speeding across the shore line, but to myself, I was only jogging at a normal pace. Ugh, I miss those stupid idiots. It was blatantly obvious to myself that I was homesick.
