(Y/n)'s POV
Drowsily, I rubbed my eyes. What time is it? Instinctively, I reached for the bedside table. Instead of the metallic device that I hoped for, my hands were met with a cold silky surface. I opened my eyes, eyebrows knit in confusion. Oh, that's right. I'm in Jin's apartment.
"Good morning sleeping beauty," Jin Woo greeted as he entered the room, a tray in hand.
"Morning handsome," I responded, giving him a groggy closed eyed smile. "Is that breakfast? For me? In bed? What's the special occasion?"
"There's no special occasion. I just thought I'd do something nice for you. If I'm going to win that heart of yours, I'll have to amaze you, don't I?" He set the tray on my lap.
My cheeks reddened at the mention of his liking towards me, "You really are blunt– too blunt for your own good."
"What can I say? I thought you said you liked the 'blunt' types," he smirked.
"I shouldn't have said anything at all," I sighed, though still smiling. "Regardless, thanks for making me breakfast, especially since you're probably extra sore and tired from the job quest. If you don't mind me asking, what time is it?"
"It's exactly twelve noon," he answered.
"Oh shit, I have to go or I'll be late!" I literally inhaled the breakfast Jin Woo made for me which I wished I had more time to savor. It was rather hearty and delicoius. "Thanks for the breakfast. It's really delicious and cooked to perfection, nice job Jinnie! I gotta scram now."
I hopped off the bed, gave Jin Woo a short appreciative hug and rushed toward the kitchen. I placed the dirtied plate on the sink before I sprinted into the small laundry room. I searched through piles of clothes, being sure not to cause a mess as they were already neatly folded.
With my clothes in hand, I made a quick dash to the bathroom. I slapped on my clothes in record time, which consisted of navy blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a added with my white belt and combat boots.
The male watched in amazement, "What are you in such a hurry for?"
"I told you yesterday, didn't I? I promised someone else that I'd help them raid an A-Rank gate. I wouldn't want to be late. Being late is extremely informal and rude." I answered in a hurry, already one step away from the front door.
"Now that you mention it, I remember now. After the raid, could you come to Jin Ah's school?"
"Huh? Not that I mind, but why?" I stopped in my tracks.
"I'd like to go on a raid, and it'd be nice to have you accompany me. I'd also like to show you my new abilities," Jin Woo explained.
"Well okay, I'll see you then. Bye Jin!" Before he could even say his own goodbye, I was already out the door, sprinting across the streets.
Due to my speed and small stature, I easily slipped through the crowd without much of a problem. I quickly arrived at the meeting point Jong In and I had agreed upon. This was when I panicked.
The number of people gathered in front of the gate was massive. If I estimated correctly, there were at least two thousand or more gathered. I expected a smaller crowd. Though, with the Ultimate Hunter and the new mysterious S-Class, I guess it's impossible to avoid attention.
"Hey," I greeted Jong In. "There's a... quite a lot of people gathered here..."
"(L/n), you made it just in the nick of time," he acknowledged. "As for why there are so many people gathered, it is to be expected, no?"
