RHAENERYS KNEW IN HER HEART THAT SOEMTHING WAS WRONG. She knew the minute Ser Barris and Ser Jorah told her they were going up north to gather the proof they wanted.

She knew the minute she received multiple ravens from Robb, and her happiness was short-lived when there had been no more for the time being.

She knew when her stomach had churched day and night, dreams plagued by nightmares of seeing Robb's undead face.

Rhaenerys Targaryen knew, and her suspicions were confirmed one morning when a frantic raven had nearly clawed poor Wrymrot's eyes out trying to get him.

He had taken he message to his Queen at once and Daenerys had summoned Rhaenerys immediately when she noticed that it was addressed to her from Castle Black.

Rhaenerys had all but snatched the letter from Daenerys as she entered the meeting room, ready to read it for herself. But luckily, Daenerys was just as impatient as she was and wasted no time in ripping the parchment open.

As she began to read, Rhaenerys' heart dropped lower and lower until finally, it felt as if it had reached the bottom of her feet.

Tears sprung to her eyes as Daenerys read off the dreadful words of Tyrion Lannister; their group had been trapped and by the time he escaped, he wasn't sure if any of them were even alive anymore.

When Daenerys was finished reading the letter, she looked worriedly at Rhaenerys who was as pale as a ghost.

"Surely this letter took days to arrive," Daenerys swallowed. "I don't...I don't think—"

"No," Rhaenerys refused to believe it. She refused to believe what Daenerys was going to say next; refused to believe that Robb was dead.

Angry tears sprung her eyes as she realized she had been the one to send him to his grave. In his letter, he told her he was going north for her. He told her that he was going to bring the proof that would unite their leaders against all odds; he told her that he was willing to die for a even the slightest chance to marry her.

He did it all for her and for what?

Rhaenerys swallowed thickly.

"How long do you reckon it'll take to get there if I take my dragons?" She asked her aunt, who looked at the girl with wide eyes.

"You're not considering going north, are you?!" Daenerys all but scolded her. The mad look in Rhaenerys' eyes told that she was indeed considering it.

"I can't just let Robb die without even giving him a chance," Rhaenerys told her as she stood quickly.
