ROBB FELT THE DRAGON FIRE BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE. White hot and blinding, he had never felt such an intense heat as Rhaenerys and Daenerys came flying in and torched everything that wasn't living in their path.

Rhaegar gave a great screech as Rhaenerys rode him, the white dragon nearly blending in with the snow and ash around him. Rhaenerys encouraged him as she gave him commands in Valyrian and raked her worried brown eyes over the ground below.

Though she couldn't see him, Robb somehow spotted her and looked at the skies in awe as she rode over him.

The sound of the dragon wings were enough to render him deaf, nevermind the screaming and other chaos around him. Too busy looking up at her, Robb nearly missed the shouting of his brother and companions as they urged him to follow them.

"Quickly!" Jon shouted, tugging on his brother's armor and looking at the dragon perched in front them, "We must hurry if we're going to make it out of here!"

Robb quickly snapped out of his trance and focused his attention on running as fast he could until he reached the magnificent dragon Daenerys was riding on.

Drogon was bigger enough for all of them to ride him, so while Rhaenerys, Rhaegar, Rhaegal, Viscerion, and Lyanna defended the skies, Daenerys came to rescue them.

She let out shouts of urgency as the undead advanced upon her and her dragon.

Drogon gave a great screech as one of the walkers pierced him with a spear; Robb having a hard time getting a grip on the dragon as he moved frantically.

"Hurry, Robb, hurry!" Jon yelled at him from his secure spot above.

Finally, he managed to take Tormund's outstretched hand and the giant had no problem pulling him up. From up the in the sky, Rhaenerys sighed in relief as she finally saw Robb getting on.

She flew valiantly and dodged as many spears as she could while allowing Rhaegar to destroy them with his fire. The ice began to melt and crack as Drogon began to trample through it, getting anxious at the assaults coming from below.

"KINGSLAYER!"

Jamie grunted as he was the last man on the ground and yelled as he struggled to kill off walkers and get on top of the moving dragon. Despite Ser Jorah's outstretched hand, Jamie couldn't find it in himself to turn his back on the walkers to take it.

Dread began to pool in the lion's stomach. As more and more came, he came to the awful conclusion that that Drogon would not be able to stay long enough before they were completely and utterly swamped.

And so, with a look of defeat and not turning his back once, Jamie yelled,

"Go! Get out of here, leave!"

He was willing to die to save men he barely knew or men he knew and didn't like.

Robb would never forget that as he stared at the Kingslayer with pity, Daenerys abiding by his commands and ordering Drogon to take off.

Because of the assault from the air, Jamie still had a few moments before his demise. And like the warrior he was, he planned on using them to fight to the death, hoping one of the dragons' fire would burn his body before he had the chance to come back as one of them.

He grunted, and Rhaenerys pulled back once she noticed that everyone had extracted from the ground.

Her eyes met an anxious Daenerys as the woman flew her dragon next to hers. Brown eyes met blue, and she and Robb exchanged a look of pure relief at seeing the other was okay.

"Take them back to Castle Black," Rhaenerys yelled to her aunt, over all the chaos.

Daenerys looked at her niece worriedly. "And you?!" She yelled back in panic.

Rhaenerys' brown eyes left the sky and traveled to the ground where one lone warrior was still fighting. And, despite everything, Rhaenerys knew in her heart she couldn't let Jamie die like that.

"I'm going to save him!" She yelled at Daenerys, before shouting at Rhaegar to dive down.

Protests died on Robb's, Ser Barris, and Daenerys' lips as Rhaenerys was gone before they could say anything.

Robb gave a great shout to his love, but by the time it would have reached her, she already flying back to Jamie.

Determination burned in her stomach as Rhaegar burned eveything in his path. Rhaenerys ordered him to take out the white walkers in front of Jamie, before landing him down next to the man.

Jamie was no idiot. He could hear the sounds of wings flapping and the sound of Rhaenerys shouting his name, but that still didn't make the Kingslayer any less confused.

Hope burned in heart when he realized she had came back for him. For the man that killed her grandfather and participated in her family's demise. For him, Jamie Lannister, and she even had the decency to look worried for him.

Jamie didn't know whether to laugh or cry as he hopped on the dragon, wrapping his arms around the young girl who told him to hang on tight.

His sword was long forgotten as the white walkers ravaged the place he was just standing. But Jamie felt no sorrow for leaving it behind, for swords were replaceable. Life was not.

Rhaenerys grunted as she struggled to steer the dragon through all the chaos.

Calling out to Lyanna, Rhaegar, and Viscerion, she urged them to follow after her aunt as she and Jamie were right behind them.

"Are you alright?" The brown haired girl asked as Jamie the pair began to fly away from his would-be grave.

Jamie let out a shaky breath, looking at the utter destruction below him.

"No."
