It was 7:00 pm and I was waiting in my room with Lexi waiting to hear a honk or something to tell me that Keaton was here.

I was wearing a Nicely fitting black dress. The dress wasn't slutty but it definitely wasn't very simple. I wore black heels too and had a small purse that held my wallet, my phone, and my house keys.

"You ready?-" Lexi asked as she heard a honk outside.

"Well if I wasn't I am now." I said as I sighed heavily and smiled.

I kissed Lexi on the cheek and grabbed my purse.

I walked to the front door and heard another honk so I rushed out of the door.

I saw Keaton leaning up against the passenger car door. He looked really nice to only be going to a movie but so did I in a way.

"Hey...you look stunning." Keaton says as he looks at me as I walk up to him.

"Thank you Keaton you look really nice tonight too!" I said as I hugged him.

Once I pulled away he opened the car door and I got inside. Keaton ran around the car and got in on the drivers side and wasted no time pulling out from my driveway and starting to drive to the movie theatre.

Keaton kept his hand on my leg while driving and it felt oddly nostalgic. Keaton did this for me even back when we were good friends before the dating part. It was something for comfort because he knew one of my love languages was physical touch.

It became his habit to keep his hand on my thigh or leg when driving because it made me feel safe.

I placed my hand on top of his as he rested it on my leg and he looked at me. I looked back at him and smiled. The car ride was silent but our body language said a lot.

I think that us working on each other together was a good idea of me and I found it a little weird that Lazlo had to be the reason for me actually starting on that but I'm glad I did it.

  Me and Keaton were walking into the entrance of the movie theatre and he told me to wait on him to pay for everything so I did.

I sat down on a seat while looking at Keaton talk to the woman at the counter. I didn't care what movie we were seeing I just liked how things were going between me and him.

Keaton held his hand behind his back and gave me and thumbs up and I stood up and walked over to him. He held the tickets in his hand and I saw the woman start to get candy, popcorn, and 2 drinks.

Keaton had gotten a couple of my favorite candies and I adored him for it. One of our first few dates were at a movie theater and I had always told him to remember my favorite candies because it would tell me that he cared.

"Alright let's go." Keaton said as he grabbed the candy and drinks. I only had to carry the tickets and the pop corn.

Keaton started to walk off and I followed behind him. We entered the room and it was pretty silent and dark. The room wasn't crowded but it wasn't near empty either.

Me and Keaton found our seats and sat down. We were at a really fancy type movie theater so he mad mini tables we could put in front of your seats because it was attached to the seat. The seats could also recline.

Keaton placed the snacks on the table and I placed the popcorn on my table. Keaton gave me my drink and he kept his and I put mine in the cup holder.

The movie started and once again Keaton rested his hand on my leg and used his other to eat and drink during the movie.

Keaton noticed I wasn't eating much so he kept offering me food so he knew I was eating. Lazlo had never done these things for me but he also didn't know these things about me yet and I think that's another thing that needs to happen if we ever start talking to each other again.

Keaton ended up picking a horror movie so it made coming here even better. Whenever something scary would happen Keaton would pretend he wasn't scared but I always felt his grip tighten on my leg.

Me and Keaton walked out of the movie theater laughing.

"I wonder how they did that scene! It must've taken forever to set that up!" Keaton said and I nodded my head as he was referring to the movie we just finished watching .

We got in his car and started to drive back to his place because he said he wanted to hang out there for a bit. I didn't mind as I wanted to go over there anyways. I did leave my shirt so maybe I could get that too once we got there.

"Keaton thank you for taking me out tonight." I said while a smile and he placed his hand on my thigh.

"Of course. No matter what goes on between I'll always have a soft spot for you full of love and respect. You were good to me and always have been." Keaton says and it makes me feel so warm.

"You can go ahead and go in I'll be in after you in just a second." I told Keaton as he had parked in front of his house.

Keaton nodded and got out before heading into his house. I sat in the car trying to breath in and out slowly.  Going in that house would be a lot but I was up for it.

I got out of the car and straightened out my dress. I reached the front door and knocked. Lazlo answered it and once he saw my face he smiled at me.

Lazlo looked as if he hadn't slept and he looked very dead inside but once he saw my outfit and me his face lit up.

I rolled my eyes and pushed pass him. When Keaton saw me he jumped and walked over to me.

"Wanna play uno?" He asked with a smile and agreed before giving him a kiss on the cheek right in front of Lazlo.

Lazlo shattered a bit and I felt bad but I had to act like I no longer cared about him. It seemed like he cared a lot about me though but I really hoped that he wasn't sleepless because of me.

Me and Keaton had a great time playing games and stuff but we were now parked outside of my house as I needed to be home.

"Thanks once again Keaton." I said with a smile as I passed him another kiss on the cheek.

"Anything for you." He said and I flashed a smile at him once more before getting out of his car and walking inside of my house.

I ran to my room to see Lexi laying down. Once she saw me she say herself up on my bed and pointed to an area right beside her.

"Sooo....how did it go?" She smiled at me and a smile plastered itself on my face. She noticed my face was glowing and it made her happy.

"Well...." I said as I put my purse down and sat on the bed beside her.

"come on nova! Spill!"
