I tried to keep my mind off of the thought of Lazlo as I walked out of the hospital with ace. We got into his car and immediately started driving away. He didn't say anything, which was his way of giving me the space I needed because of the news I just found out. "You will be there right?" I asked the question I was scared to know the answer to but ace just placed a hand on my thigh, "always. I've grown attached to you and I won't go anywhere. Especially if it's mine." He said with a small smile. I could tell he wanted the baby to be his but part of him was sad because there was a chance it wasn't. He didn't voice this thought because he knew what he was getting himself into when he met me.

Eventually we got to his place and got settled in, it was still pretty silent between us and we weren't sure why but ace finally said something, "I really want it to be mine." He said and I looked him in his eyes, "it will be. I'm confident." I said and he gave a weak smile. I then decided to get rid of the heavy thoughts of emotion. I pulled ace in and kissed him passionately. He kissed back and wrapped his hands around my waist. I pulled away from him, "don't get too excited..I need to tell my friend..can I invite her over?" I asked ace and he just eagerly nodded. I pulled out my phone and dialed her number, "Lexi? Hey I need you to come over I have some news." I told her and she said she'd be right over. I told ace what she told me, "well, in the meantime let's chill." He said with a smile and I smiled back.

We were sitting on the couch watching a movie when I heard a knock at the door. Ace insisted on getting the door so he got up and went to answer it. Lexi walked in, giving him a nice hug as they were friends a little bit. She walked in and sat on the couch, "hey you! I see you and ace have gotten fairly close." She says wiggling her eyebrows and I smiled at her. "So...I have some big news." I told her and she smiled, "oh! What is it?" She asked and I sighed softly. "I'm...pregnant." I said and the room went dead silent. She sat there staring at me before growing a huge smile, "no fucking way! Ace?!" She said as she turned to him and he shrugged which made her turn back to me and raise an eyebrow.

"That's the other thing. I don't know who the father is between Lazlo and ace. I don't wanna say Keaton but hell...I don't know how far along I am.." I said and Lexi immediately shook her head, "it can't be keatons..I won't allow it." She said. "I know, I'm hoping it's not." Ace said as he got closer to me and her as we sat on the couch. "I just know what I'm prepared to be with nova throughout all of this...the entire process." He said as he smiled at me and I smiled back. "Oh so you two are just love birds aren't you?" She said and I rolled my eyes.

Lexi ended up staying way longer than we thought, we watched movies and played games all night. After a while she realized that she had an entire life to get back to and she said goodnight to us and walked out of the door. Me and ace looked at eachother, "that went well." He said and I smiled, "of course it did....now...there's another person...my mom." I said as I looked at ace and he swallowed a lump in his throat nervously. "Alright then...what better time than to do it at night so she can sleep on it right?" He said and I smiled. I got up from the couch and grabbed his hand, pulling him up with me as we left. We went outside and got into his car. He wouldn't leave until I buckled myself in so I did just that. Once I buckled myself in he started to drive. While driving I kept my mouth shut, he placed his hand on my thigh to get me to calm down as my leg was bouncing from all the nerves going off in my head. "Hey...I'm here if she doesn't accept it ok?" He said as I continued to do some breathing. Calming myself down.

Once we arrived to her house ace got out of the car and opened my door for me. I sighed heavily as he helped me out of the car. I groaned as I pulled myself up out of the care. Ace guided me to the front door. Since I've basically lived here my entire life I just opened the door and walked in. As soon as I walked in I heard banging against a wall. I followed the sound until it got louder and I ended up near my moms room. I had so much going through my mind I didn't even think about what the noise could've been. I stood there for a second trying to relieve myself of all the shit going through my mind. I wanted her to accept me to it was time to rip the band aid off. I turned to ace and he stood there. "Listen my love, I promise you that you will be ok. I am here for you no matter what and you need to always know that I will never leave. I'm here to fight through all the blood sweat and tears that are thrown our way." He said smiling and then he pulled me in to kiss me. I kissed him back and then pulled away preparing myself.

I opened my moms bedroom door and smiled. Once I saw my mom my smile dropped, she was in bed with a man. Her nor the man had heard us coming in. I tried to get a clear view of who the man was and when I did, my heart dropped. The one person I would never ever expect or want to see my mom with was having sex with her. Ace immediately pulled me out of the room and shut the door. Them still not even noticing.

"Did I just see Lazlo fucking your mom?"
