I woke up as I had decided to go straight to sleep after Keaton had left. I sat up on my bed and noticed my phone had gotten a notification.

I had 2 of them. One was from Lazlo and the other from Kenton.

I went to look at Lazlos message first.

LAZLO: can you come over..I want to talk to you.

I read the message and rolled my eyes and decided to go to Keatons message.

KEATON: good morning! Let me take you for a movie sometime today! How does that sounds to you?

While reading the message I smiled. It felt like we were back to dating in the early years when he acted like he loved me most.

NOVA: that sounds amazing! How about you come pick me up at 7:00 pm tonight!

I said and all I saw was typing bubbles before a big thumbs up emoji with a kissy face beside it pop up on my screen. I smiled at my screen before turning it off and sitting on my bed for a while trying to figure out what to do for the day until I see Keaton.

I decided to turn my phone on again and find Lexis contact in my phone. I went to our messages and opened it up.

NOVA: hey Lexi love! I was wondering if you would like to spend some time with your one and only so I can waste time before my date.

I sat in front of my phone while waiting for my message to be seen by her.

After a while I finally saw bubbles flash across my screen for a while before a message popped up.

LEXi: Hey wonderful! Of course I'll spend time with you...another date with Lazlo?

NOVA: ehhh....it's best if you come over.

I said as I remembered that Lexi has missed a lot and it's best to explain my situation to her in person rather than over the phone.

LEXI: uh oh...I'll be at your place in a few.

Lexi said and I started to see more bubbles pop up but they vanished. I figured that she was practically running over here. Lexi and I knowing each other for so long gave her this instinct, almost like a mother.

Lexi could tell by just the way I type if something is wrong with me or if I was hiding something and sometimes it was a little annoying because of how good she was at reading me but sometimes it was useful.

I heard a car park outside of the house and in no less than about 2 minutes my bedroom door flew open and Lexi walked in.

"Something is going on and I need to know what." Lexi said as she kicked off her shoes and hopped on my bed.

"Start speaking." She stated and I sighed as I pushed myself up on my bed and sat in a criss cross position in front of her.

I took a deep breath in before I started to vent.

"Well the other day I slept over Lazlos place and when we woke up everything was good right? No. His overly obsessed next door neighbor caught us kissing and he started to talk to her but she was talking about how I'm a child and how he was disgusting for kissing and having sex with me and once she left I mentioned to him that I was a little bit offended by what she said and Lazlo said to ignore it but I couldn't and then my mind started to race with these random thoughts of how maybe she was right and then I lashed out and yelled at Lazlo and he called me a child and tried to apologize but I just walked away because I hated him for the fact that he just called me a child and I was already having doubts about everything! So we basically broke up! I started to talk to Keaton again because I wanted to work things out with him and then I decided that I would also use him to find a way into their house and I'd give Keaton some kissing in front of Lazlo to teach him a lesson and now I'm going on a date with Keaton!"

I had finally finished my ranting and I was huffing because I ran out of breath while trying to get so much shit out at once.

Lexi just sat in front of me not even moving a muscle until finally I saw her mouth drop in shock.

It was almost like everything I said had only just reached her ears.

"Well nova...I say that you do spend time with Keaton and see where things go." Lexi says causally while still trying to process everything.

"Maybe you're right." I say and she smiles at me.

"How are things with you and Keaton so far?" She asked as she realized I had been hanging around Keaton.

"Great! He came over last night and we made a cake together and it was very eventful and fun. " I said with a bright smile and she raised her eye brow as if she was suspicious of something.

"Are you-...uh..." lexis voice trailed off and my body shook at the realization of what she was saying.

"N-no! Of course I'm not sleeping with him! I don't plan on sleeping with him!"  I reassured her and she relaxed a bit.

"Well...now that I know everything how about we start to find an outfit for your date tonight!" Lexi says as she jumps up off of my bed.

The one thing I have always adored about Lexi is the fact that she can always move on from things I don't like talking about just to make me happy. She can tell when I feel weird talking about things so she moves on from to give me time to group myself together and she was doing that exact thing in this very moment.

I didn't say anything that would go against her so I just got off of my bed along with her and she swung my closet door open.

"Sooo...where is this date?" Lexi says as she wiggles her eyebrows.

"Movie date." I said as I watched her think for a minute.

"Ok and what do you want to go for with this? Will you be seeing Lazlo after the date?" Lexi asked and I thought on the question for a minute.

"Uhmm yeah I'm pretty sure because I think I might ask him if we could chill at his house afterwards." I say and Lexi just smiles.

"Great so we're looking for something that will catch Lazlo eye and also not too slutty because you will be at the movie theaters in this outfit." Lexi says to herself as she begins to push my clothes around in my closet.

I was happy she was here to help me out and I was also happy that she wasn't judging my situation.

I really did love Lexi.
