Signature

Chapter 43

         As the gods were debating whether they should reward a human or punish a human, Zeus interrupted them by asking about Ysha's attendance. Ysha has been sleeping in a big room for a long time but because Zeus wanted to look closely to Ysha and ask her some question that her attendance is required and she was asked to be awake.

        Ysha open her eyes remembering the torture of Thompson's unlimited shot until both of them died. The panic in her eyes gives her terror and surprise when some guy is picking her up and changing her clothes. She grabs them one by one and pushes them away from her, the followers don't know what to do so they fight with Ysha to control her and bring her to the gods. On the screen, the gods, have seen Ysha's actions and they enjoy watching it, but Zeus who continues to look at her was quiet until he speaks some words that the followers and Ysha heard, "Enough." 

        The gods, the followers, and Ysha stop and listen to Zeus. Ysha who doesn't know who is speaking is looking around and stops moving. Zeus continue to speak again and said, "Human, we need you to follow my followers and go to our room as soon as possible. This is not a request but an order." Ysha then replied and said, "Why would I follow you when I don't know who you are?" The other gods are laughing at Ysha's answer but Zeus got angry and irritated and said, "You shall follow me because I am your god." Ysha was surprised and said, "Alright." Zeus' reaction change expecting she would say more but instead she just follows.

         Ysha changes her clothes and Zeus' follower walk to the god's hall. It was big and white and there are many chairs around her with tall people sitting on different thrones. Ysha was amazed and understand the scenario so she bows down her head and said, "It a pleasure to see some gods taking an interest in a mortal like me. But what can I do for you?" Ysha look at the twelve gods and was amazed at what she saw. Some gods fancy her attitude and some don't like her but Zeus continues to look at her and said, "We have asked for your presence because of two things, your reward or your punishment. We've given you a long task like any other mortal we've given to, immortality." 

        "Every thousand of years we are choosing a person who will carry a burden on his/her shoulder and become an immortal to show us whether how mortals really act on their own will without dying, but you... you of all of the mortals is different from others' why is that?" Ysha understands what Zeus has said and replies, "So, you're saying that in the different era you gave humans immortality just to see our will and action. Is that right?" "Don't ask me a question. I ask you first." "Well, you did ask, yes but if you answer mine, I might answer yours." 

       Zeus continue to keep an eye on Ysha and so did she, then suddenly he laughs, the other gods were confused by Zeus' action but remained silent avoiding his punishment. "Why are you laughing?" Ysha asks in confusion as well, "You, mortal indeed different from other mortals, I've seen enough who are also smart like you but they always go in the wrong path and die with some punishment after their death but you... You chose a different life, a different path, and to answer your question, yes, it is an experiment for you to understand the value of life, and become someone who can help or destroy the world." As Zeus answered Ysha's question she smirk and look directly into Zeus' eyes, everyone in the room gasped as no one look at Zeus like that especially a mortal because they will surely be blind and die easily but Ysha, she is different and she replied to Zeus question.

        "I am different because of the people surrounding me, I don't know if those other people have experienced what I did or maybe worse, but even if there is a problem, a consequence I know that looking at the wrong view will be different. I don't want to be that person who will use what I have just to show who I am. I am not an attention seeker just because I am alone, I just want some peace. And by that, I mean the people who abused me died, but the people who help me live and become someone my ally, my friend, my family, and my lover. I don't know if I answer your question but being immortal is not that a happy ending and just ruin someone's value in life and in his or her character. I don't want to be someone like them not because of your little experiment as gods but because I want to." 

       As Zeus watch Ysha intently, he again surprised everyone with a clap. "Impressive, you are indeed different, I don't know why but even though we made every one of you, I did not expect to see someone like you in all the of the mortal beings. Amazing." Zeus smile which again makes everyone surprised but Ysha, she also smiles and stands up straight. "Well, it is a pleasure to see different gods as well. But if I could ask, did you just bring me here to answer your question, or is there something more?" 

       Hera who does not like Ysha's attitude anymore was about to speak up but was stopped by Zeus and he replied, "Of course, yes, by looking at you and visiting your family, I have already decided. I will give you another chance in life as a reward, but you shall not see as a punishment looking directly at me and seeing us gods. Would you accept my reward or just stay here and live for yourself?" 

       Ysha has been thinking for a while and then she decides, "I would accept your reward even if it will blind me, but can I also ask for a favor?" Zeus smiled and said, "What is it?" "This time, I want to live far from my family, not because I don't love them, but because I want them to be happy even without me, will that be possible?" Zeus sit in his chair thinking and he said, "Alright, but if faith is in you, they might see you again." Ysha smiled, "Fine, and thank you, sir." Ysha bow to all of them and her body suddenly glow and become a light that she travels back to Earth. "I hope you continue to live peacefully, my daughter," Zeus said.
