Signature

Chapter 36

     Olivia and Anton come inside his apartment. He gives her a glass of water and then Olivia asks his brother, "Anton, what do you mean, when you said you met her?" He sits down and smiled at her, "Do you remember when I told you I meet a beautiful woman recently?" "Yes, and you said you are working in a hotel called Bretramia." "Yes, that is it. That beautiful woman I was talking about was mom. A few months ago, I stayed here in England for a reason, it is because of the late Queen of Bretramia. I read about her story, and her journey and I admire her because of her work. So, I decided to work in this hotel, which they said was owned by the Queen, the hotel of Bretramia. Then as I change my name to hide from father—" 

    "Wait... is this about your secret?" Olivia interrupted. Anton smiled and continued, "Maybe it is, we already know that if he found out that my immortality is gone, he would kill me already. So, this is my chance to hide from him, to be a normal man and work in this hotel until a beautiful visitor visits the hotel... She is elegant, friendly, and lovely. Then, as I was serving her, she looks at the picture of the Queen and said, "The Queen looks very beautiful." To my surprise she looks exactly like her, I then, realize that she is the Queen, and she is our mom. I haven't told her who I am because she won't believe me but looking at her for a while and talking to her. I know she is a good person. And I am thankful that I still knew her." 

     Olivia cried again and sit in his brother's lap. "Don't worry, mom told me to find you and take care of you and she also said that she loves you. I know you are a good person, Anton. It's better to live to be normal than living a thousand years without your love once." He smiled at Olivia and then she suddenly thinks of an idea, "Brother, how about I bring you to the palace? We can help the Queen and the people here in England?" Anton thinks about it and he said, "If that is what you want little sister. I will help you." Olivia scoff and smiled at his brother, "I am not a little sister, we are twins remember? "Yes but—" "Ssshhh don't say, I know what you are about to say, so shut up." He laughed and hug her sister.

      In the palace, Olivia brought Anton as promised. The Queen greeted them and let them stay there, but they decline and want to live in the Bretramia Hotel where Ysha stay. "Are you sure, you don't want to stay here? I promise your mother that I will take care of both of you." "That is alright, your Majesty, and we don't want to disturb—" Their conversation was interrupted by someone's yell, "Leave me alone!" Olivia, his brother, and the Queen look at who it might be and it was Arthur. He is drunk and wears unwashed clothes. 

     The Queen excuse herself and walk towards Arthur, "Arthur what are you doing? Please, you need to take care of yourself or you'll die as well." He sits down in the hallway and cried, "Might as well it happened at least I am with her." Then, he looks in front of him, and from afar he looks at Anton and Olivia. "Wait, you two... You both seem familiar." The two walk towards him and help him stand up, "Yes we are, we are actually, Ysha's children..." Hearing that Arthur's eyes widen and he asks them, "Children? So, both of you are her children, what are your names?" Olivia and Anton look at each other and scratch the back of their head, "You already saw me when mom died, I am Olivia." "You already saw me to me too, in the apartment where mom bring me back and we saw you sneaking out. I am Anton." Arthur looked at them and he hug both of them, "I am very sorry about your mother, but don't worry, I will take care of both of you, and tomorrow let's talk about this again." After talking to them, he fall down to the ground and his guards took care of him.

     The next day, Arthur wakes up with a pain in his head. He sits up and looks at the balcony. He goes there and saw Ysha's sitting on the balcony, it's like he is looking at what is Ysha doing in the past. In there he saw Ysha, thinking and looking at the sky with sadness on her face. She was very composed but you know she is thinking about something then she touches her stomach and said, "Forgive me, if I cannot let you see the world and die with me. I know you might like it here, but I cannot assure you that everything will be alright. But you know, your father will be so happy when he heard about you." Ysha cried and continue "I am really sorry about  my decision my child, I am." 

     Hearing Ysha's words, Arthur tried to hold her but then her figure was gone. He cried to himself and sit down on the floor. Then, Theodore walks towards him and gives him a handkerchief, "Sir, Ms. King's burial will have happened today. The Queen has requested me to bring you there, are you going to let it slide today?" He looks at Theodore and wipes his tears with the handkerchief Theodore gave to him. He stands up and said, "No, let me fix myself first then drive me there." Theodore smiled and left. Arthur goes to the bathroom and looks in the mirror, "I will see you one last time, my love." He takes a bath and cleans his beard and cuts his hair. He shaves the hair in his skin and makes himself presentable. He wears a black polo shirt and pants and looks in the mirror. Then, he remembers Ysha smiling and admiring him, "You look handsome, Arthur." "I do, my love for you." He walks outside and waits for Theodore to pull the car over. He walks out and said, "You look handsome, sir, shall we go?" Arthur nodded and they left.
