Chapter 27

     Outside the airport, I called Theodore in the phone booth, "Theodore, where are you?" "Your highness, we are still driving to the palace." He replied, "Good, about what happened to the airport..." "Yes, I understand your Highness. I will tell the Queen about this." He interruptedly said and I smiled, "Thank you Theodore, and tell the Queen to keep it private. I don't want Mr. King to know who I am." "I understand, your Highness, Goodbye." I was about to end the call when, I heard Arthur speaking, "Who are you talking to Theodore?" "It is nothing, Mr. King, the Queen is just asking where are we." "Is that so?" "Yes." Then, I end the call. 

    I ride the taxi and ask the driver to bring me to the Bretramia hotel. Inside the hotel, I ask the receptionist to call the manager when she asks my name and I said, "It's Athena Clark." All the staff look at me and call the manager. The manager came down immediately and greeted me, "Miss Clark, your highness, what can I do for you?" "George, right?" "Yes, Miss Clark." "I need your help with something." Then, I whisper in his ears, "But I need to talk to you privately." "Right, this way please." I follow him and smiled at the staff.

       In his office, he prepares me a coffee and allows me to sit in his chair so, I sit in it and he sits opposite of me. "What can I do for you, Miss Clark?" "Well, George, it is just a small favor but I just need you to get me a car. I will drive it back here after I use it." He smiled and said, "Of course, Miss Clark, let me make a call first, and then, I will call you when it is here. But first, if you need to rest, I can prepare a room for you." "It's fine George, but thank you for the offer. I can just wait at the lobby." "But, you might—" "It's alright, I can wait there." 

     I interrupted him and he gulp, "Right, I will make the call for now." "Thank you, George. I will go to the lobby now." I stand up and walk to the elevator. Down the elevator, some people are still looking at me and some are doing their business. I sit down on the couch and open a magazine when someone calls my name, "Athena!" I look who it might be and I saw Anton, he is running towards me and I smiled at him with my hands waving, "Hi Anton, how are you?" He stops running and breathe outs when he was in front of me, "What are you doing here, Athena?" I smiled at him again and said, "Did you practice calling my name instead of my surname?" "Well, you said, that I can call you by your name and act normal so, so I tried to call your name often,  and now this." "Well, that is good, is your shift done?" "Yes, actually someone told me you are here so—" 

      Anton was interrupted by a loud noise outside. We look outside and a limo stop, there are many young woman and man yelling outside. "What is happening?" I ask Anton, "I actually don't know, but it must be an actor." "Right, anyways would you—" I was interrupted again when a bunch of shouting people come into the hotel and, between them is a man guarded by the guards. "Oh my god, Arthur, Mr. Arthur can I get your autograph?" "Mr. King, can I get a selfie?" "Mr. Arthur!" All the girls are yelling his name; he continues to walk to the receptionist and I look again at Anton. He must have been here to find me, but he won't get me because of these girls so I look at Anton and said, "Anton, how about we go out, I will buy you a meal." "Are you sure? You might be busy, Athena." I smiled at him and said, "No, I always have time for my friends." He then smiled at me.

     Then George shouted my name for me to hear him due to the loud girls screaming at Arthur's name. "Ms. Athena, Ms. Clark." I look at him and walk towards him, "Is everything ready?" "Yes, ma'am, this is the key, and don't worry about the car you can use it as long as you like." I smile at him and shake his hand. Anton and I were about to go when, someone shouted, "Wait!" I stop walking but I don't turn around, then Anton asks me, "Are you alright Ms. Athena? Did you forget something?" I know it was Arthur, but I cannot look at him, so I smiled at Anton and said, "No, I just remember something and my mind went black for a second, but I am fine, so let's go." "Alright." We walk to the door and Arthur keeps shouting, but he cannot get past those fans of him.

      Outside the parking area, Anton and I are finding the car that George prepared. When Theodore comes out of the limousine, he walked toward me and Anton and said, "Do you know him, Athena?" I smiled at both of them and said, "Yes, he is a friend, how are you, Theodore? Forgive me if I did not greet you earlier because of the issue." "That is alright, ma'am I already told the Queen about it and told your daughter." 

     Anton looks surprised and said, "Do you know the Queen, Athena?" "Yes, I somehow know her, but don't be surprised you already know who I am I think, so I trust you." "But why me?" Anton asked, "Well, I just know that you are good and I trust you, just don't tell it to anyone, or my friend here will bring you to keep your mouth shut." Anton's face changed and seems to be scared and said, "You can trust me, Athena, I promise." I look at him and laughed, "Relax, I am just joking, come on, let's eat dinner. Goodbye for now Theodore. Tell the Queen, I will be there at midnight, and if Arthur comes call me. I don't want him to know my connection with the Queen." "I understand." I tap him on the shoulder and Anton and I leave.
