He grins, "I love you, too."
He then lowers himself onto the floor, his head landing a few inches away from mine.
"I'm sorry I did this to you," He says softly.
I stay silent, just staring into the eyes of the man who kidnapped me.
"I hope you'll forgive me one day. I'm not a bad person, I just... I don't know what I am."
"What's your goal in life?" I ask him.
He hums, "Maybe to grow old with a wife and kids. Read newspapers and magazines all day and watch Wheel of Fortune."
I laugh, "Is that your idea of what old people do?"
He laughs back, his smile causing his skin folds into deep smile lines, "Yeah basically."
We fall silent, and it's like his eyes lure me in by a fishing line.
My lips fall on his, then my body climbs on top of his. His hands land on my waist as I lean over him, cupping his cheeks.
I knew this was wrong, but I couldn't stop myself.
His skin was rough, like soft sandpaper and his jaw was scratchy. Everything about him was harsh and rugged, his looks, his hands, his eyes, everything but his lips.
He was gentle and tranquil, and he emitted a kind of callous love into the air.
Then he pulls back, his eyes half closed and his lips parted. He doesn't waste a second as he rolls over me, flipping us over until he was on top. His face landed in my neck and suddenly all the gentleness disappeared.
His hands were hasty as they traveled up my shirt. His teeth scraped against my skin and his bite was worse.
One of his hands wrap around my thigh, pushing it up against my torso as his hips settle between my legs. He wasn't like this normally, but maybe last time this happened he wasn't normal.
He behaved in a way where I was some hookup, some quickie. His progression of my body was fast, rapid. I couldn't keep up.
"Noah, stop."
He hums out a noise of rebellion as he sucks at my neck.
Angered by his response, I push him off of me. He lands on the carpet beside me, "Sorry."
"What the fuck?"
"I got carried away I'm sorry."
I sigh and fall back, "It's fine. I think I'm just gonna watch a movie."
"I'm really sorry, Larissa."
"Noah it's fine," I say before sitting up and standing up, holding out my hand for him, "If you come watch a movie I'll forgive you 100%."
He smiles then takes my hand. I pull him up, and we walk into the living room together.
We end up falling asleep on the couch together and it's the best sleep I've gotten since I've been here. With his weight on top of me as well as a blanket, I stayed warm the entire night. I wasn't able to move around a lot, but I'd rather not move than wake him up.
-
I'm woken up by the sound of a loud high pitched scream.
As I turn my head, I see Sao standing next to us, looking down at us.
Awh shit.
He had a look of anger in his eyes and tears were streaming down his face.
I'm not sure how Noah was still asleep after that scream but he was. I couldn't move. My head was stuck in place and my arms were under his body. I was frozen in place.
"You don't respect me!" He yells, his voice choppy, "You don't respect him! You don't respect us! He is mine!"
I was terrified, and my lack of movement, made that worse. If it could get any worse, he raises up both his arms and in his hands, a long, sharp, kitchen knife.
"Sao!" I yell, "Stop!"
That awakens Noah.
He jerks awake, turning his head to me, then to Sao as he hovers the knife above his back.
"Sao!" He yells in a deep voice before swinging his legs off the bed then taking his wrists in his hands.
He squeezes so hard on his tiny wrists that the knife falls to the floor, just barely missing their feet.
"It's just one after the other with you!" He yells.
He was angry. This was a type of anger I'd never seen before.
"I am done! I can't do this with you anymore!"
He grabs the top of his hair, then drags him off quickly. I watch in terror as screams and yells plummet from Sao's mouth.
I throw myself off the couch, running after them as they enter the bedroom.
"Noah! Stop! Leave him alone!"
He throws his arm out, placing a firm hand on my chest before he pushes me away, "Leave, Larissa."
"No!" I scream, "Let him go!"
Now I was crying, but just because of the stress of the situation. If he went down those stairs, that was the last time I would ever see Sao.
He may have made a mistake, but he wasn't bad, and he didn't deserve to get hurt.
"Please," I plead, "I'll deal with him. Please let me."
He stares, his eyes squinted, "Fine. I'm leaving anyways."
By his hair, he throws Sao to the ground, initially hitting his head on the wall.
He trudges past me, opening the door, "Go. I need to change."
I nod, then turn to Sao. I attempt to help him up, but he slaps my hand away then stands up on his own. He pushes past me then leaves the room.
Noah stops me as I walk through the door, "I'm coming back with another girl tonight," He tells me, "Neso."
I nod, and he continues, "Get him in line, or I'll do it myself. Got it?"
"Got it."
