We were talking when there was a huge thud making us both turn around
"This is so not fair, I have been here for a day and a bit but I have already fell 4 times like hello how is this even possible. I mean ayiappa If you thought the floor needed a hug then you should have told me na, instead of just pushing me down to hug the floor" there she was again
She rambled to herself while getting up and sitting down. She was still talking to herself while cabir looked at her with amusement making me chuckle at his expression
"Kya rajdhani ki tarha bolti hai yar yeh"
"Rajdhani who" I asked
"Idiot the train yar"
'Jesus Christ" I mummbled facing the front
"Hey nandini" he said turning around
"Hi cabir" she said with such a cute smile
Cute smile? What the actual fuck manik? stay away from her man that is the the best, she is trouble and I do not need any trouble.
"So nandini what brings you to space academy" he asked
"Umm chacham chachi wanted to move here for their work so you know I had to because i couldn't stay alone in manglore with dadi but like it's so weird cause they both work anyways and im mostly alone so I don't see a difference but ya whatever who cares right"
"You speak a lot" cabir said and she giggled
"Mumma bhi yah keheti hai"
"I heard that you are living beside manik and three houses down from me"
"Ohhh so that big house is yours" she said poking my arm
"Keep your hands off me" I said and she giggled
"Arey yar mai konsa tumhara rape kar rahi hu" she said laughing
"Danggg ittt, I love you Nandini" cabir said laughing
"I love you too cabir, handsome ho tum" she said and cabir smirked
"See I knew it, this idiot never calls me handsome" he said smacking my arm
"Shut up both of you shut the hell up" I said in a stern voice
they both put their fingers against their lips like little kids making me shake my head. I already had cabin being a child and now this girl is taking up my energy.
"If I hear a single word from either of you in the next 2 hours I will hit you both" I said and Nandini leaned backwards towards cabir since she was sitting in front of us
"He won't hit us na" she whispered making me press my lips together trying not to smile
"He might" cabir said and her eyes widened as she sat back in her spot biting her nails
"The fuck cabir" I mouthed and he laughed making me shake my head
The next hour the teacher came in and started giving a lecture, I was just listening because chemistry never goes in my head so I knew id need cabin's help anyways so there is no point of writing notes.
The teacher was talking about some molecules or something when my eyes fell on Nandini not purposely but by default cause she is sitting infront of us. She was bitting the ends of her pencil, who chews on pencils at the age of 19 man.
"Keep your eyes on the board not nandini" cabir whispered in my ears
"Shut up cabir" I mumbled focusing back on the board
How the hell does he even know and I wasn't even looking at her, whatever, I am so done with this class, it gives a headache. Finally after a little bit the calss ended and I rubbed my temples feeling a strong headache coming on
"Take a power nap monster it will help with the headache" nandini said
"He doesn't do naps and chemistry always gives him a headache" cabir said
"Manik tum alien tot ni ho" she asked poking my arm
"Touch me one more time and see what happens" I said and he pouted but then touched my arm again making cabir laugh
"Kuch bui ni hua" she said like a child
"Fucking hell, ruining my whole day" I mumbled grabbing my bag
"You are so tall" she said and I walked outside the class without saying anything
I am so done with today, I so wish I could just leave and bunk the rest of my classes but if my dad finds out I'm dead meat so maybe I shouldn't.
"Manik yar kyu itna sad haha hai, she isn't that bad" I heard cabir as he ran to catch up to me
"Im not having this conversation with you cabir"
"Dude not everyone wants to hurt you and she doesn't seem bad, she is so pure and innocent"
"I don't care, im not interested in talking to her let alone being friends"
"Manik"
"Cabir drop it, I already have a headache"
"Here take this" he said handing me a pill and a water bottle
I grabbed it from his hand and gulped the pill down handing him the water back. The next few hours were just back to back classes and finally after the long day cabir and sat down in my living room once we got home. My dad is usually not home around this time so we come back to chill
"Can I ask you something" he said
"You'll still ask if I say no so go ahead"
"Nandini"
"Not her again please" I said walking up to my room while he followed
He fell on my bed while I put my bag away and sat on the bed.
"She is cute, sweet, caring as well"
"Cabir, first of all, I am not interested at all. Second if I was at all interested even for a minute, I would never go for her, I will never bring her into my messy life. She seems like a bubble cute girl and that's something im not gonna ruin just because I may like her" I said and he smirked
"So you do like her"
"Dude I just said if, I didn't say I like her"
"Manik sometimes it's hard to let go of all your baggage but its high time, im not saying nandini but any girl. Live a little and don't just walk around like a robot and live under your dad's orders. This isn't healthy, come on manik please just breathe please"
"Cabir I deserve this all and just let it be, no one can take the darkness out of my life plus I have gotten used to it so its fine" I said patting his back
"Fine, lets have some food" he said dropping the topic which I was thankful for
