Nandini's pov

"Why is this happening to me nandini" he whispered in my neck sniffling

"God tests the strongest people because he knows you can handle it and you know ayiappa knows how strong and capable you are. He gave you cabir so you have someone who loves you. I know life has been so hard for you and I wish I could do something to help but now that I am here I will do my best to guide you from the demons" I said softly kissing his hair

"Tum sath hoti ho na toh lagta hai sab thik hai, you are my sunshine. I was living in this black and white world but then you came and I instantly knew you'd light up my world" he whispered

"I will always be here" I said getting comfortable

"Goodnight mani"

"Goodnight nandini" he whispered drowsy

I knew the medicine were showing it's effect, I had a billion things to worry about apart from chacha chachi, I had to get rid of Manik's dad. I cannot have him see manik anymore since he doesn't give a shit then why should i.

It was gonna be a hard task but for him id make it work. I know I love him, was it very quick? Yes!! But does it feel right? God yess so right! He feels like he is made for me but I want to take my time to get to know him more while we live together so we can have a strong future.

I wasn't sleepy so I just washed tv for a few hours. Manik stirred in his sleep causing me to look at him. He groaned in pain so I sat up.

"You okay" I asked and he groaned in response

"Here" I said grabbing some water from the table

I helped him up and he gulped down some water laying back down. I put the glass down and looked back at him. He looked very uncomfortable

"Whats wrong" I asked caressing his hair

"Im uncomfortable" he mumbled opening his eyes

"Can I do something to help"

"This iv is irritating me Nandini" he said tugging on it and his t shirt

"Come here, cuddle with me" I said and he put his head on my stomach

"I feel sick" he siad

"Well you are monkey, close your eyes it's 2 in the morning" I said caressing his hair

"This stupid shitting fucking"

"Hey hey, language. It's okay give me your hand"  I said and he placed his hand right above his head on me

I started caressing his hand and his back which made him fall back a sleep. I slowly drifted to sleep too. I was woken up by my phone ringing

"Hello" I said without looking at who was calling

"Is Manik okay" I heard caber

"Ya he is sleeping"

"Umm let me in, I wanna see him" he said

"Dude just put in the code, it's 2122"

"Fine" he said and I heard his and navy's steps

I got up and fixed my t shirt cause Manik was sleeping on me. I shifted up so his head was on my stomach, he was snoring making me chuckle

"Can we come in" I heard navya

"Ya, it's open" I said

they walked in and cabir looked very upset and sad which was expected because these two are literally boyfriends haha.

"What the shit fucks has he gotten himself into like fuck man, he looks like he needs a god damn makeover maybe even botox" he said siting beside Manik on the other side

"Tell me about it" I said smiling

"The doctor said it'll take a little bit so I don't think ill go to college for a that period of time but I need you two to get Manik and I some homework. I have emailed out profs and everything" cabir said and I nodded

"By the way navya I really am wondering something" I said with a smirk and she understood where I was going with that"

"Same man, there was a road block otherwise we would have been back the day itself. Should have seen cabin freaking out, he looked like his wife was giving birth or something" I laughed hearing this

"Oh man, these two are so in love with each other" I said and cabir frowned

"Shut up, this isn't the time to joke"

"Dude it's fine, he is fine" I said and he looked indifferent

"Cabir, I gave him meds, he has an iv in which by the way he keeps trying to yank out but ya he will be okay"

"I know that, but still. He looks beaten up"

"Well he was" I said as a matter of fact

he caressed Manik's hair and I chuckled at how Manik's forehead covers with frowns but then he relaxes into cabir's touch

"Cabir he is fine but we gotta take care of his dad, the man has no chill"

"Oh trust me, he has gone way too far this time and I am not about to let him continue his bullshit, I have stopped every time because of manik but not anymore. Ill make sure he goes to fucking jail"

"Umm no sir, you will not do that" he frowned looking at me

"What do you mean" he asked

"Putting his dad in jail only hurts manik so no we aren't doing that, I want him to tell manik he is sorry"

"Well the fuck he is gonna"

"Not by forcing him to idiot, I mean by making him realize the shit he has been doing. God knows how long thing has been going on for" I said looking at manik

"Oh for a while like maybe 9 to 10 years or so"

"Ya,after his mom passed away, his dad has been very abusive not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. He believes that manik has to be the best at everything he does or it's a disappointment which is so fucked up"

"It's gonna take a lot for him to star loving himself" I said more to myself then to anyone else

"Yup, he doubts himself at everything"

"Well he had reasons to but it'll be fine. We can make sure he works through these issues and will get better"

"I don't doubt that when you are with him" he siad

"Really, why? What If I murder him" I teased and he laughed

"You don't murder people you love or do you"

"Excuse me" I said chocking on the words 'love' even though i do love him, how does cabir know?

"Your face says it all" navya said before cabir could inturpt

"Oh shut it both of you"

"Forget this, tell me what he had for dinner"

"Toast, chicken noddle soup and some crackers"

"Umm okay, I'm gonna make him some oatmeal" cabir siad

"Doesn't he hate oatmeal" I asked

"Yup"

"Then why are you making it"

"Because he hates it" he said laughing making navya and I both chuckle
