Nandini's pov

I came out after showering and saw my whole room cleaned making me look at Manik who was laying on my bed with closed eyes

"Manik you didn't have to" I said putting my towel away

"I wanted to, it's the least I could do for hurting you" he said with closed eyes

"You look tired" I said seeing the bags under his eyes which I failed to notice prior

"Havent slept in a while' he said

"Did he do something" I asked sitting beside him

"No"

"I will not force you to share it with but if you want to im here for you" I siad and he nodded

"So what brings you here other than my hot body and amazing smile" I asked and he laughed

"Our biology project" he said

"Dang it, I thought you'd say my sexy legs or you know something like that" I teased

"Shut up" he mummbled

"Make me" I said and he smiled

"Did you have lunch" I asked and he shook his head

"Ill make some rajma chawal, nap for a little bit" I said

"No ill come help you" he said

I didn't wanna be controlling so I got up and shook my wet hair

"Nandini dar" he said getting up wiping his face cause I accidentally got water on hm

"Sorry na" I said putting my hair up in a bun

"When is chachi coming back" he asked following me down to the kitchen

"Maybe a month or so" I said

"Do you stay alone for longer periods of time"

"I do, it's kinda nice" I said smiling

"Liar" he said

"I like being with people because my mind is occupied but if im alone my mind is running like a train you know" I said and he nodded

"I feel that" he said sitting on the counter

"I thought you were gonna help" I said

"I am by gracing you with my presence"

"Yes my lord that is exactly what I wanted" I said bowing down to him making him smile

I walked and stood in between Manik's legs leaning onto him a little

"You have a beautiful smile, you should smile more often, it can wake up the dead" I said and he smiled showing his slight dimples

"Are you flirting with me" he asked

"Finally, tumhai pata toh chala" I said turning the stove on and he laughed

"Cabir is right, you are one of a kind"

"Haina, I knew it, mai single piece hu" I said

"Manik can I ask you something"

"Ya"

"So what is it that you really want in life and don't give me bullshit answers"

"To make her proud" he said caressing his bracelet

"I can guarantee she is very proud of you" I said and a beautiful smile adored his face

"You don't even know who im talking about"
