Chapter 18

"Nandini" I heard manik making me look at him

"Can you give me a sponge bath again and I wanna brush" manik said

"Yes I can do that" I said

"You stink anyways" cabir said

"Dead man" manik said glaring

"Stop it both of you, if I hear you two bickering more neither of you are getting a phone for the next 24 hours" I said getting off the bed

they both looked shocked for a few minutes then recovered from their shock and shook hands making me smile

"Let's go give you a bath" I said helping him

"We will be downstairs watching tv" cabir said and I nodded

Once they both left I helped manik to the bathroom. He brushed first and then took his clothes off including his boxers since I had bubbles in the bath so I wouldn't be able to see anything. I helped him get in the bath with closed eyes until he was in the bath.

"You can open em" he siad and I did

He was looking at me with some kind of emotions in his eyes.

"Whats up"

"I feel a lot of things for you" he said

"So do I"

"Can I stay with you forever" he asked and I nodded smiling

"Of course you can, you sure you want to tho, I might take your phone away" I said and he giggled

"You sound like you are talking to a child"

"Well I am"

"Hey I am 19"

"Samezies" he leaned in my touch when I massaged his shoulders a little

He sat in the bath for an hour or even more and was starting to get drowsy again which was expected

"Hey no sleeping" I whispered and he opened his eyes smiling at me

"Come on time to go to bed"

"Can you lay down with me, I'm sleepy"

"Yes sir, lets get you to bed, I have to shower then I will join you"

"No I wanna watch tv, can we go downstairs" he asked

"Yup"

I helped him out of the bath with closed eyes of course and handed him a towel turning around as he held onto my arm fro support. He put on sweats and a t shirt on as well

We walked downstairs and he sat down on the couch groaning beside cabin, im sure he was in pain.

"Im gonna go shower" I said and he nodded

I quickly showered and jogged downstairs to see the three of them watching some murder mystery stuff with lots of snacks.

Manik's eyes were closing but he forced them open making me smile. I sat down beside him and he leaned onto me. He put his head in my neck and he was fast a sleep in less than 5 minutes

"He is such a stubborn person, I have been trying to tell him to sleep but he kept forcing his eyes open" cabir said making me chuckle

"Nanidni don't ever hurt him, I know you won't but it's my responsibility and love towards him that's making me say this, he has gone through a lot and you have too even though you don't say it but he is broken and I see the glue that can piece him together in you so please mend him and I promise he will mend you. Jus give it a try will you?" He said

"Cabir I don't know what else he has gone through but I agree he is broken but I promise I will try my best to glue him together and I will never leaves side no matter what. He has pushed me away twice but I let him because my mom used to say if you let go of something and it comes back it is for you but if it doesn't it was never meant to be for you. I know he pushes because he is afraid of losing people but I aint leaving, he is kinda stuck with me and so are you two" I said teasing

"Oh trust me we wanna be stuck with you" navya said

"I am awesome aren't I" I asked and cabir smacked my arm

"I am awesome aren't I" he mimicked my words making me glare at him

"Umm Nandini do you mind me asking about your parents" he asked

"No, umm they passed away when I was 8 years old, we used to live here but when they passed away I had to move back to my chacha chachi's house but ya thats all" I said

"Im sorry" cabir said caressing my arm

"It's okay, I never remember them crying, I wanna always remember them smiling and laughing" he smiled hearing this

"So what is the plan for today"  navya asked

"We can get ice cream tonight" I suggested

"Seriously, what are you 5?" Cabir asked

"Dude don't make me start or you and your girlfriend over here would be blushing"

"Don't threaten me"

"So I heard about the sex" I started and navya put her palm over my lips making me smirk a little

"Fine I'm sorry" cabir said

"Good, now ice cream because manik needs to get air, he has been in this room for a while"

"His dad" cabir said

"Ya you want me to fight him cause I will, I am sure I can take him down"

"Right!! So now the actual plan" he said

"Fine, what is it"

"I need to find out where Manik's money is going"

"Wait ya about that, how is this man a millionaire" I asked remembering him mentioning something along those lines

"He has worked hard, he took over his mom's company well it was his parents company but after is mom the company went down. He was 14 when he started learning about it and even though he was too young to figure everything out he invested and worked with the right people and it worked"

"Damnn the man is a package" I said ruffling his hair

"Eww don't call him that, that'll boost his ego" I chuckled at this

"We gotta figure this thing out before it damages manik deeper" navya said and we both nodded

"Lets watch that new horror movie that came out" I said and they both cuddled up in blankets beside me
