Chapter 11

"Mani why are you doing this baby? Have I given you a reason to push me away"

"No" he said pulling back and licking his lips

"Eww it's so khata" he said

"I know but it's good for you" he pouted hearing this

"So if I haven't given you a reason to push me away then why are you" I asked

"You will leave me and go just like Mumma, I cannot handle people leaving me"

"I told you I wouldn't leave you right"

'But mumma said the same thing and she left" he said

"Mani sometimes there are things that are out of our control but we shouldn't pull back just because of things that might happen"

"I don't wanna let go of you"

"And I never want you to but we have to work on this right, we can work through some of these things together instead of pushing each other away"

'I agree" he said smiling

"Good, now you have two options"

"Two options" he asked showing me two fingers

"Yes two, first option is I take you back home" I said touching his pointer finger

"And second option is you can stay with me tonight and we can watch movies since tomorrow is Saturday" I pointed at his second finger

"Umm option 2" he said holding my hand

"Option 2 it is, do you wanna put on your jeans" I asked

"No I wanna watch movie" he said laying down

"Get in the blankets" I said and he got under my blankets

"Ill be right back okay, pick a movie" I handed him the remote taking the dishes downstairs.

I washed them and checked the doors closing all the lights. I also grabbed some white chocoalte from the fridge and walked upstairs to find manik covered with blankets with his head peaking out.

"Nandu, see I found one" he said and I saw it was a Christmas movie

"Sounds good" I said slipping in blankets beside him

"Here is your chocolate" I handed him the white chocoloate

"Yummm" he said taking a bite

I played the movie and we were watching it when my phone rang.

"Hello" I said without looking at who it was

"Nandini can you do me a favour" it was cabin

"Ya what's up" I asked

"Manik isn't picking up, I have been calling him. I would come over to check on him but I'm currently ut of town with navya, it'll take me about 50 minutes to an hour to get back so can you please see if he is home" he said

"He is with me" I said and he took a breath

"Manik where is your phone" I asked and he leaned his head on my shoulder

"Pata ni" he said

"Cabir is getting worried for you" I said and he pouted

"Cabir" he said I put him on speaker

"Manik"

"Hiiii tu kaha hai" he asked and cabir chuckled

"Out with navya, where is your phone idiot"
