"Do you know where we're supposed to go exactly?" Sero asked, gulping loudly as the towers of UA loomed over them."No, but there has to be signs somewhere. We'll follow those." Vanya rationalized, hoping it would calm her friend.
It was early morning, their first day of school in hero training, and the teenagers had met up at the train station that morning to make their way to school together. Sero looked pale and stiff when Vanya greeted him but thankfully, he seemed to ease back into his normal self as the two had joked around on the train.
They stood in front of the large blue gate, the towers of UA casting shadows over it, as a low volume of students streamed into the entrance.
They looked at each other, determination sparkling in their eyes, and walked forward through the gate. And promptly froze when an alarm blared out as soon as they stepped foot past the gate.
A hero that Vanya did not recognize popped up out of nowhere, waving a metal detector as though it was a tennis racket, "Weapons are not permitted on UA grounds, with the expectation of support tools that have gone through the performance and quality safety check done by the support course teachers. You seem to have tripped the alarm for an unregistered product, what are you carrying?"
Sero let out a nervous laugh as the hero waved the wand over his body, but still kept his hands over his head out of respect, "Weapons? We're not carrying any weapons."
The hero finished waving the wand over him and began on Vanya, who also lifted her arms, "Are you positive?"
The boy nodded, "Absolutely-"
He was cut off with a harsh beep! Beep! Beep! as the hero hovered the wand over Vanya's leg.
"Oh. I forgot I was carrying my knife." the girl said, far too casually for Sero's comfort. He watched, open-mouthed as his friend reached under the hem of her skirt and pulled out a knife from a holster strapped to her thigh.
"Any other weapons?" the hero asked, unamused, holding out his hand expectantly.
Vanya handed him the blade, "Just my backup knife." she monotoned. The hero rolled his eyes and began waving the metal detector over her again at her response.
Sero gave her a harsh glare, "Vanya. Please don't joke right now."
Beep! Beep! Beep!
The hero stopped over Vanya's arm and stared in disbelief at the girl. Sero gaped at his friend, speechless in shock, and gestured wildly to her frame with an incredulous look on his face.
Vanya met his look, seemingly confused by his outrage, "Why would I joke about that?"
The hero looked between them, eyes serious, "You two, follow me. We need to have a chat with the principal about this."
Sero gulped and turned to face Vanya, pale once more, "We're going to be so late to homeroom."

The universe had to be playing some joke on Midoriya Izuku.
Truly, there is no other explanation for this other than some big cosmic joke. Not only was his middle school bully/former friend/rival in his class but so was the big scary muscular guy that yelled at him during the entrance exam and the nice girl!
Okay, so the last one wasn't bad but still. Izuku was a bit embarrassed that she saw him fall from the sky after breaking his limbs.
As he watched the muscular guy, who he now knew was named Iida, and Kacchan argue, movement caught his attention from the corner of his eye. He turned and looked, seeing two people in a dead sprint coming straight towards him.
