MATILDA! CHAPTER THREE:
THE MOTEL METH LAB

Liz, JJ and John B all went into the Coastal Office to try and talk to them, but it was busy as ever, and everyone was screaming over each other. Liz couldn't even keep to the front, she was pushed to the back. The three walked out of the office where Kie and Pope were waiting for them.

"Well that went well" Pope spoke

"So what's the plan?" JJ asked

"I know—we're gonna find the guy who owns that boat" John B stated

"We don't know whose room that is. It could be anyone's"

"Im in"

"Come on, I'll be lookout"

"Finders fee just sayin" John b said

"Come on Bubba" Liz said in a sing song voice to Pope

They got to the motel after a few minutes of driving, and to say it looked bad was an understatement
"I thought the cheatau looked bad" 

"This place is a shit show"

"Motel or meth lab?" Liz asked 

"You be the Judge" Pope said

"Doesn't look like a place someone with a Grady white would stay"

"No, looks like somewhere Grady white would get killed"

"This is your captain speaking. HMS pogue coming in for a landing" JJ said trying to impersonate a captain. They tied the boat to shore

"Hey, don't let him do anything stupid" Pope said to John B

"Yeah, we will" JJ said

"I'm not making any promises"

"Liz, go with them" Pope practically ordered and Liz looked at the two boys who would definitely cause to much trouble for anyone's liking and rolled her eyes and huffed

"Fine" she said getting out of the boat with JJs help

"Uh, be careful" Kiara said giving John B the key "I mean it"

"Yeah" John B chuckled before walking with JJ and Liz

"Why are all these mattresses out here?"

"After a hurricane, they ditch em cause there Moldy" JJ explained

"Can we ditch you after a hurricane?" Liz commented and JJ lightly nudged her

"Just be so careful John B" JJ mocked What Kie did on the boat

"God your so weird" John B groaned

"What was that about?"

"I don't know maybe she wants us to be careful"

"Since she heard you being threatened with exile she's been like—"

"Oh! Be so careful John B" both JJ and Liz were pretending to be all over John B

"Get off"

"Oh jsut give me that John D already, like when are you going to swoop on that man?" JJ asked

"Bro you know the rule, no pogue-on-pogue making"

"You totally made that rule so you could avoid your feelings for her" Liz stated

"JJs the one who's always hitting on her"

"Of course I'm hitting on her. She's a super hot, rich, hippie chick slumming it with us, why? I can't figure it out either Bro but who cares bro. I know that doors locked because I've tried it. Have you?"
