Liz simply watched the house carefully for a few minutes, waiting for the lights to turn off. The boys were talking, but Liz was completely ignoring what they said and suddenly lights turned on.

"They did it. Go time." John B stated "So, let's do it." John B began to countdown from three but Liz simply got up and walked across the lawn going towards the basement— the three boys quickly chased after her. They entered the basement of Mrs Crains house with the rope and other things they brought. JJ looked down the well.

"Holy crap, you know what this is? It just hit me." JJ said "Pope, look. This is C.H.U.D. Full C.H.U.D."

"What is he talking about?"

"Cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers" Liz said "me and JJ have watched it like a million times"

"Have you guys not seen that film?" JJ asked

"No."

"Can't say I have, no." John B shook his head

"It's actually a good film." JJ stated

"It's about cannibals that live in the sewers" Liz explained

"it's like—"

"Shut up! Shut up!"

"All right."

"Rude" Liz muttered

"How deep do you think this is, Pope?" John B asked as they looked down the hole

"I don't know." Pope said as he hooked John B up. Liz grabbed his arm.

"Just— don't kill yourself." Liz said and John B nodded before hugging her tightly

"I won't. I promise. you can't get rid of me that easily Buffy" John B teased and she let out a quiet laugh before stepping back to stand in front of JJ. John B slowly put himself in the well, the rope was above the poles to create a pulley system.

"Hey, guys. I have one request." John B said

"Yeah?" They all asked in sync

"Don't drop me." John B said as they lowered him in and both boys mimicked dropping him slightly

"Whoa! Okay... You're gonna die first, for sure."

"Got ya."

"All right, just keep payin' it out nice and slow like that." Pope instructed JJ and Liz as they held onto the rope

"Here we go. Keep goin'."

"Keep goin'."

"Wait, hold on one second. I'm gonna get situated." JJ said trying to fix the poisoned was in, and than he fell down, making them let go of the rope— well except Liz who might have almost gone flying if Pope wasn't there

"Oh, shit! John, shit! Whoa! What—"

"Jesus!"

"I told you not to drop me!" John B yelled

"Sorry!" Liz exclaimed

"You good, man?" Pope asked

"What the hell was that?"

"Little technical difficulties." Liz told him

"Keep going, slow!"

"Okay, we're gonna start paying you out again, all right?" They slowly stated to feed the rope so he would lower

"Okay. Okay. All right, keep goin'. All right. Keep it comin'."

"Okay."

"Hey. Hey, we got 15 feet left. Are you getting close to the bottom?" Pope asked
