Jennie had a ton of homework to get done during study hall Monday morning, but she was having a lot of trouble focusing. Every time she would try to get her mind off of Lisa, her phone would vibrate, and she'd stop any train of thought to reply.
The honour student didn't realize how much more intense her feelings would get when she actually exchanged feelings with the object of her affections.
All she's wanted to do the past few days was see Lisa, and even when they did meet each other, it was never enough. The preoccupation was a tad stressful too.
Jennie who had only thought about her grades for the longest time.
Was it going to be okay like this from now on? How was Jennie supposed to get any work done if she couldn't get her mind off the other girl? Not to mention that Jennie's resting heart rate had seemed to increase. Especially when she thought about having a girlfri-
Wait a minute.
Was Lisa her girlfriend?
Jennie pressed her face in her hands to hide her beet red complexion. The word alone was enough to send her into a pit of embarrassment. Jennie hadn't thought she'd be dating anyone anytime soon, and especially not another girl.
"You feeling alright?"
The voice made Jennie nearly jump out of her seat, and she looked over to see Jisoo sitting in the desk beside her, smirking.
"Jisoo!" Jennie huffed. "Why do you always have to sneak up on me like that?"
"I always come up to you normally," Jisoo replied, "you've just been in your head too much lately. Like, I've been watching you have a mental freak-out for the past couple of minutes."
Jennie groaned. She'd forgotten all about Jisoo the past week, but now she was going to have to deal with her old rival's antics again.
"What do you want, Jisoo?" Jennie grumbled "I was just wondering what was going on," Jisoo stated. "You're not all gloomy like you were last week."
"Well, that's not of your business." Jisoo ignored her and flashed a sly grin.
"Did you make up with Lisa?" Jennie blushed.
"Why would you assume it has anything to do with Lisa?"
Jisoo rolled her eyes.
"Because it always does with you."
Jennie grit her teeth, thoroughly embarrassed that she was being exposed like this.
"It's got nothing to do with Lisa and nothing to do with you either. So buzz off "
As she tried to return her attention to her homework, she could feel the pretty blonde staring at her. There was no way she was buying Jennie's denial, and Jennie felt like she was being analysed and picked apart. She didn't care for it.
"Did you two start going out?" Jisoo asked suddenly. Jennie flushed once more. How was she jumping to these conclusions? Just how closely was Jisoo paying attention to her? Or was Jennie really just making it obvious for everyone? Did everyone know that Jennie and Lisa were going ou-
Wait a minute.
Were they actually going out?
Jennie racked her brain, trying to think of whether or not she officially had this conversation with Lisa. They confessed their feelings, even k-kissed, but...
Was it something that needed to be said out loud?
Was it just implied that they were going out now?
