34. Bits from Motherhood: Forced Confrontation

"Misty!!" Daisy yelled as her body swayed backward over the edge of tea table, effectively falling over the jug of hot beverage.

It was so sudden that everyone had to take a moment before racing to Misty's aid.

Kyle immediately pulled Misty up and away from the broken glass as both Yana and Daisy panicked as the hot liquid seeped into her clothes along with blood from glass pieces stuck on her back. Rick held her unconscious head which was tilting to one side uncomfortably.

"Call doctor, immediately." Kyle ordered one of his own guards who raced to the landline and called reception.

"Let's carry her inside room, we have to clean her body." Yana advised as Rick carried Misty and proceeded towards the master bedroom with everyone else flocking around him in worry, except Kyle who walked out in direction where Aron left before all this happened, after throwing such shocking demands at her.

Rick rushed out of room to fetch doctor after placing Misty on couch, leaving her and Daisy to help Misty out of the spoiled dress.

Yana teared up while Daisy's face seemed all red with fury as she saw bandage on Misty's foot along with fresh cuts she got from the nasty fall.
They changed Misty into on of the long robes after cleaning her with warm wipes and then transferred her onto bed.

Yana couldn't help but burn with guilt thinking of the how she was also a silent spectator if not an active participant in all the vile deeds which messed up Misty's life.

Yana was too grateful towards Aron and all her friends support and affection for her, that she knowingly ignored Aron's unacceptable behaviour towards Misty, when she should have been the one to understand Misty's situation the most given how terribly Yana herself was treated by her own father.

The look of disgust and hate Misty held in her eyes for them, made Yana question her own morals.

"First aid's in that drawer" Daisy asked her while holding Misty's foot. Daisy's eyes glazed as she felt the heat from Misty's skin seep into her palm.

This girl was burning with fever, yet worked throughout the day and also barrelled herself here to fight them for her son.

"Doctor has arrived" Rick knocked on the door and entered along with a middle aged lady, as both girls got their emotions in control.

Kyle returned along with Aron who rushed inside and practically hovered behind the doctor while ignoring all the glares being shot at him. Both males looked roughened up, so it wasn't hard to assume what might have happened between them.

"It seems like result of sleeplessness, dehydration and not eating well" Doctor started while looking back at Rick who walked her inside.
"What's alarming out of all is her blood pressure...it's really abnormal for a girl as young as her to have 185/123.
Its hypertensive crisis which is very serious for person's life.
I can't believe what kind of reason would led to this level of stress she is taking.
I have given her injection for immediate relief and here's the prescription for medicines she needs to take without any slack.
I have took her blood sample for further examination, the reports of which will be sent to you tomorrow. "

Rick looked around not knowing what to do, as it wasn't a single reason, but bloody stack of reasons for her current state and even after what happened in past his bastard of a friend refused to learn a thing.
He nodded before escorting her out of room in silence, as Kyle followed them out.

"Why are you doing this Aron?" Yana finally asked in a tearful voice.

She stared at this person who was her dear friend for so long and was her backbone in tough situations. Aron never behaved so rash and vengeful with anyone except Misty, but what he was doing now was unbearable even for Yana to watch and stay mum.
