"Aron, do yo-uu you feel some-thing f-for me? Doyoulikeme.."

And just like that... from the loud traffic downstreet, to the explosive music from crazy neighbours, every noise got filtered out by his ears and all he could think of was the question she asked him....once again.

Even his scheming mind decided to go on repair mode, just when he needed the most.

Misty deliberately used the same set of words she used years back, because she considered that question and Aron's response from years back to be one of the crucial moment which contributed to the mess which was her life.

FLASHBACK

"Aron, do yo-uu you feel some-thing f-for me? Doyoulikeme.." her faint voice silenced his footsteps along with ringing bell and all those noises in background, as every student in hallway waited for Aron's response.

She mustered all her courage just to stand intact at her place, as Aron turned around and walked back to where she stood with her head down, finding the floor more interesting than the boy she asked such a controversial question from.

But, soon her question got answered..... not just by the sweet juice dripping down from her head and forehead, seeping all over her dress but the profounding laughter which resonated all around mocking her courage to even think that the Aron Reuben could ever be interested in a girl of her status.

FLASHBACK ENDS

That incident was used again and again after that by everyone to prove that, Misty Milton blamed Aron Reuben falsely to get back at him for rejecting her onesided love ruthlessly infront of all.

However, nobody knew that Misty was actually relieved by Aron's response from that day.
As given her personality back then, she would have never refused Aron or said No to the only son of Leila and Fin Reuben who practically raised her abandoned self.

"It's fine if you don't respond" Misty spoke once again "because the time when your wishes and desires impacted others life decisions is already gone"

She pressed her temple area softly before getting seated on her chair once again, not bothering with mixed expressions on Aron's face.

"You got me pregnant" if her previous question stopped Aron's heart, her current statement practically got him on spot....because he wasn't prepared for it, not now and not ever.

"Why did you do that?
You decided to refuse any responsibility back then.
The same you decided to pop here and claim Ray now.
Why...Why did you hurt me like that Aron?" He sucked in his breath because this was the first time in half a decade when she called his name, but the very reason she used his name for was not something he was capable to answer.

His constant silence and stiff posture got Misty smile softly at how strange it was for people to wreck others life left, right and centre, yet too hard to answer and accept their deeds.

"You were what! Five when I was born right. You'll watched me grow alongside under your roof, considering your parents as my God and both you and Niomi as important as a family.
Yet you did that to me... you ra-" Misty's calm tone couldn't cool down the smouldering heat of her statements.

"I never did that...I DIDN'T" Misty was expressionless as Aron intruded her personal space and pulled her up, holding her arms.

Aron looked raged, and knew that if he failed at that moment to explain himself then he could never correct his image in his Misty's mind.
For that Aron was ready to use thousands of lies and manipulation.
He was ready to do it all, if it meant he could win Misty back into his life.
