Aron blinked several times to chase out sleepiness, upon feeling movement by his side followed by few small taps on his cheeks.

"Dadda!!" Ray called out in his scratchy morning voice.

Aron's eyes however immediately went to Misty who was sleeping soundly with just her beautiful face being visible from the blanket.

He ignored Ray and immediately rose up from the foot of Misty's bed where he slept whole night.

Aron softly unveiled the cover of locks from her forehead, thankful of her temperature being normal.
Even after Misty's refusal he got doctors race across the city at midnight to assess her health.

Ray followed his father round the bed and stood beside him all the while, before looking towards the balcony which was lit with morning hue.

"Mum-" Aron covered Ray's mouth before he could complete his word, while looking down with a stern look.

"What are you yelling for now!!" Aron's tone was a little too strong, making the little boy stiff.
Looking at Ray's expression itself was enough for Aron to realise the need to control himself.

"Your mumma isn't well Ray and she slept late at night, so don't make noise. " He explained in a fatherly tone receiving nod from his son.

Ray turned back towards his mom, before moving forward to lay by her side when he was stopped again, before he could climb the bed.

"Let her take rest" Aron pulled Ray back towards him.

"But...but dadda.......mumma has fever and I-I always hug her fever away" Ray mumbled nervously, looking sadly towards his mother.

Aron controlled his urge to roll his eyes at his son, as afterall it was Misty who fed such dramatic crap into Ray's head.

"Buddy...your dad is telling you right!!
Let your mom sleep and keep silence." He said in a firm tone.

"And how about this......Your dad gets you ready for school today and prepare you a special breakfast!!"
Ray looked indecisive for the first time with his father's words, but still gave away a small nod in reflex.

"Come on, it's not as if you don't get dressed by nanny back at mansion during your time with me." Aron said while kissing his sullen son's forehead and then carried him towards his room, not before giving a prolonged look towards Misty.

Ray was surprisingly happy with doing normal day to day tasks with his dad, for the first time instead of extravagant fun.
But what he failed to notice was that all Aron talked about with Ray was somehow related to Misty.

Aron Reuben fixation was one and only Misty Milton.
From what she does first thing in morning to how she wakes Ray up, he just wanted to know about Misty, all the while making sure that the questions somehow looked related to Ray.

"Bye Dadda.." Ray whispered while being seated in car, as now only was he informed of being dropped to school by Aunt Daisy not his father.

"Let's go " Daisy ordered the driver before smiling at little Ray.

Daisy smiled to herself, rewinding everything that happened since their arrival in Venice.
It was amusing to see Ray craving for Aron's attention, all the while being blind and ignoring his mom's love.

Afterall, how could Ray understand that the only value he held in Aron's life, was solely based on the fact that he was Aron's child with Misty.
Otherwise, over last few years there were multiple occasions where Aron himself got his pregnant girlfriends killed or worse get them to abort after destroying their life, despite knowing that they actually carried his child.
