Two Months Later

"Here try this" Diandra placed the platter infront of her tiny muchkin who happily feasted on the Italian dish.

Daisy couldn't believe her eyes that the old bitch had it in her to behave like a human.... let alone speak with such softness to a kid.

Rick, Kyle, Francis and Yana had already left Venice a month back to catch up with their own life, but occasionally took out their time to support Aron in his evil agenda except Yana who was still ignorant.

Diandra despite staying in hotel spent most of her time in mansion with Daisy and Aron, refusing to go back to London without Ray.

"Ray....I think it's time for you to go back home to your mumma" Daisy reminded much to Diandra's irritation.

"Your mumma must be worried with why her baby hasn't returned from school yet...hmm" she chastised before Diandra could say something.

Daisy could witness Ray's face fall as soon she said that, before tilting his little head towards his 'great granny' for help.

"If he doesn't want to go then he won't...right baby!" Diandra stated while ruffling Ray's hair.

"Come on it's time to go" Aron announced while entering the dining hall making Ray pout.

"What's the issue with keeping him here atleast until dinner?" Diandra asked " afterall Misty also gets extra time to spend with Ray while labouring around at hotel right!"

It had been like this since the first week itself of Ray getting introduced to Diandra, with her purposefully using degrading words for Misty's job, as well as insulting Misty snidely with Ray around.

"Ray" Aron called him sternly, making the kid nod his head reluctantly in compliance.

Daisy knew very well that even in his quest to win over Ray, Aron wouldn't miss a chance to meet Misty and assert her of how he had nothing to do with Ray's spoilt behaviour.

Both father and son were too happy, younger one because of the sudden pampering and luxury while the older one for gaining free pass into Misty's life.
But what appalled Daisy the most was their failure to even notice Misty's sadness.

Despite Misty's efforts to look happy and joyful around Ray, Daisy could see the controlled manner in which Misty started behaving around her own son, as if walking on eggshells.

Daisy recollected Misty smile when Ray clearly stated his preference to stay with Aron at his huge mansion...

Her sweet smile even when her Ray started eating exotic dishes by chefs again and again to miss humble food prepared by her with love.
Hell Misty's voice didn't even break when she called Aron late at night to collect Ray, when her son threw a solid tantrum to go sleep on soft bed at his dad's mansion and left her all alone in her dark apartment once again.

That kid preferred silk sheets over his mother's warm lap.
Ray's constant rejection was breaking Misty and noone seemed to care.

And added to all that was Aron's constant intrusiveness into Misty's day to day life using Ray as a pawn. If not for Misty's boundary, he would have already forced her to spend nights at mansion every other day for some silly reason related to Ray.

Daisy's blood boiled with the knowledge of Aron bribing Ray's class teacher as well as all faculty to deliberately act bitter towards him and poke Ray again and again about Misty's profession.

"Good that you bought chocolates for Ray, but have you forgot that  Ray hates fruits and nuts in his chocolates." Diandra chastised upon checking the basket which one of the worker was going to place in car.
