"Tangina" 

I cursed as soon as my phone lightened up. It was another message sent via Viber from one of my batchmates.

Manginig nginig kong binuksan iyon. It was another screenshot of text messages shared by my so called boyfriend with his 'kalandian'. I carefully read their exchange of sexts and halos mapapikit ako para lang hindi tumulo ang mga luha ko.

Jack:

Puta. Kita mo ba to, Karen? He's flirting with my girl! You're boyfriend's a flirt!

Gustong gusto ko ng itapon ang phone ko para matigil na ang lahat. My boyfriend's cheating on me. Kahit na sabihin pa nating walang relasyon ang boyfriend ko at ang girlfriend ni Jack, that they were just merely playing around, hindi ko parin lubos na maisip na kaya niyang gawin sakin ito.

"Ate! Let's go take a picture over there!" Paghila sakin ng nakababata kong kapatid na si Kobe.

Hindi ako makagalaw sa pwesto ko. Andito ako ngayon sa Hongkong Ocean Park. I'm supposed to have the freaking time of my life but here I am, betrayed by my boyfriend.

Sinamahan ko si Kobe at nakipag picturan sa kaniya at sa view. Halos hindi ako makangiti at ramdam iyon ni Kobe. Umupo muna kami saglit pagkatapos naming bumili ng ice cream.

My family and I decided to go out of the country this summer so they decided that we head to Hongkong. Everything was fine when I left the country.

Lumabas pa kami ni Theo para mag date bago ako lumabas ng bansa. Hindi ko lubos maisip kung saan ako nagkulang o kung may nagawa ba kong mali. What the fuck happened there?

I felt my phone buzz again. It was an iMessage from Theo. Nagkakaguluhan na sa Twitter dahil nagpaparinig di umano si Jack sa kaguguhan ng boyfriend ko at pinatulan naman iyon ni Theo. Nagulat nalang ako ng direkto akong twineet ni Jack na linalandi di umano ni Theo ang girlfriend niya. He sent me screenshots of Theo and his girlfriend's sexts. I have no idea on how he actually got ahold of it. I don't care, anyway.

At first I was distant of the thought. But nung nag sorry na si Theo sa akin sa direct message, humagulgol agad ako. Tangina, pano niya nagawa to sakin?

I read his message and cursed.

Theo:

Karen...

Mahal mo ko pero nagawa mong lokohin? Tangina, ganun ba kababaw ung pagmamahal mo sakin? I so wanted to send him all my thoughts but I didn't have the strength to. Nakita ni Mommy ang lugmok kong mood kaya't agad niya kong linapitan.

"Karen, what's wrong?" She asked.

"Mom, si Theo. He cheated on me."

 I cried in her arms. She was comforting me while I was bawling so hard. I was a mess and people were staring. Mabilis naman akong tinahan ni Mommy.

"Do you want to go back muna to the Hotel?" Tanong ni Mommy, agad ako tumango.

"Yes, 'Mmy. Please." I said as I wiped my tears.

Gabi na ng makabalik kami sa Hotel. Agad akong napahiga sa kama ko at natulala sa glass window kung san may magandang view mula sa aming hotel room. The view's great, but my heart's breaking more into tiny pieces.

"Ate," Kobe called as he sat beside me in my bed, "Kuya Theo's calling in Viber" he said as he handed me my phone.

I grabbed my phone and quickly ignored the call. Kanina pa ko kinukulit ni Jack, telling more shits about what happened between Theo and her slutty girlfriend. Tinignan ko ito at bumalik sa Twitter. Nakita kong nag aaway parin sina Jack at Theo. Tila naghahamon ang isa't isa ng suntukan. Theo's mad na pinangunahan siya ni Jack sa pagsabi sakin ng tutoo. I laughed at the thought.
