Someone goes to far

Running through the track beside the water I am running rings around Steve so decided to sit down and look at the view, being lost in my own trail of thought I felt a hand snake behind me and kissing on my neck. "You ok there beautiful," Steve's voice says in my ear "just admiring the view it's so.. well wow, just wow," I giggle and continue to look out seeing Steve stare at me "yes it's beautiful," I blush and cuddle into him when his phone buzzes "not going to answer that?" He smiles and pulls me in closer " it's just Tony saying him and Eddie are back with your things you need, if want to head back?" I stand up and help him up, before I push him back down on the ground and jog away so he could catch up we run to the compound.

We get to the compound we are laughing "hey Charlie can we talk?" I look at Clint then kiss Steve's cheek "what's up?" He looks down then mutters "doesn't  matter just thought I would tell you where your room is, but your precious Steve probably already shown you. Another thing sorry but has he told you it's beside mine." He turns walking out the room as I try process what the hell just happened, I felt an arm on my shoulder "you ok Lottie? come I will show you to the room." I smiled and turned to see Tony I smiled at Steve then turned back toTony "sure but Tony my names Charlotte or Charlie only my parents and Eddie get to call me Lottie." I looked down as I didn't want to see the hurt in his face. We get into the lift "hey T you don't need to show me I know where the room is I already know Steve showed me where my room was earlier, also thanks for the change of clothes." He smiles and nods then gets out at the elevator at the lab as I make my way to my room.

The elevator opens to my floor and I see Clint walking away from my room door, curious of what he was doing I walk into my room and see my clothes and belongings all over the floor in shreds, I break down crying  some of my work papers was ripped into pieces. "Clinton Francis Barton you are so fucking dead when I get hold of you." I fight back my tears Eddie runs into my room after hearing me yell and venom picks up my emotions, he just holds me as I finally break down and cry again, "hey Sshh they aren't that bad you could pull them off little sister." I cry harder as they will all show off my scars and burns plus my letters and cards. "I can't show them my scars Eddie, I can't have them asking questions and taking pity on me." Eddie was to busy comforting me that we didn't hear the door open and Clint come in.

"Hey Charlie, you called on me?" I heard his voice and launch out of Eddie's arms and punched him, "how could you my clothes are ruined," he looks at me completely shocked "this wasn't me Charlie I didn't came into the room I thought I heard someone, but hey they are still wearable maybe show your precious Steve that body of yours," I didn't hesitate and slapped him hard as Eddie grabbed me "no I can't as I don't want him to see me, now if you excuse me I want a shower then need to find clothes, that don't show my...," I broke off went and had a shower as they let themselves out when I came out I put on some of the ripped clothes and sat and cried.

I must have fell asleep as I woke up to someone banging on my door without thinking I open it, "hey Charlie I felt bad for you so I thought I could bring a jumper then take you shopping," he finally looks down I follow Clint's eyes and immediately throw my hand over my stomach and slammed the door shut with the other, sliding down crying as Clint tried and failed to open the door, it went silent outside I continued to sit by the door not wanting to move. I suddenly felt someone pulling me close "hey I got you it's ok, I promise I didn't destroy your clothes beautiful, and don't be ashamed of your scars princess," I broke down more hugging into him tighter, Clint lifted me and placed me onto the bed.

Cuddling into Clint he manages to calm me down "now you have calmed down want to go shopping? I may have taken Tony's card, to replace them" he smiled at me and put a strand out of my hair from my face. "Why are you being so nice if you didn't go this? I mean you hate me," I looked up at him he leans in closer and kisses me gently before pulling away just as quick "sorry I will see you outside here's a jumper for you," he throws it onto the bed before leaving the room I sat in shock at what just happened. I took out my phone and texted Steve to let him know I was going out shopping I fling on the jumper and am ready to head downstairs when I receive a text 'ok princess, there is a movie night tonight you can pick the movie xx' I smile down at my phone and put my shoes on before removing my hearing aids.

I walk downstairs and tap Clint's shoulder "ready to replace my clothes." He smiles and takes my hand leading me out to the car. "So where do you want to go?" I smile and get into the car "food then clothes?" He chuckles spinning me around "don't want to take my jumper off do you little one?" I look at him puzzled "aww honey it's not your jumper anymore this is mine," I smile at him as he leans in and kisses my cheek "you look sexy in it little hawk," I blush and smile "by the way you aren't off the hook with flattery Clint, I still got to get you back for ruining my clothes," he simply smiles and drives to a small but beautiful restaurant "here we are let's eat then we can go shopping,"

I smile and get out the car "great I am starving, no one woke me up for food" I start to walk inside "so no salad and lots of breadsticks for you?" He laughed as I turned and glared at him "really calling me fat or something Clint?" He froze and stared  in shock before he noticed I was smirking "aww I was kidding now let's go." We order some food then go shopping having a great time Clint was making me laugh "here try these on Charlie!" He handed me some random things "no way I will look like a idiot" I turned look at clothes then  look back at him and burst out laughing "your point is young lady," he says putting his hat on me laughing and we continue to try on different things each more ridiculous than before.

We pick up some more clothes for me and head to pay "thanks Clint," I waited for a response then remembered I took out my hearing aids out, I turned round to look at him 'sorry if you have been talking to me I haven't got my hearing aids in.' I finished signing and smile at him which he returned 'I'm glad you enjoyed yourself now let's get back.' He took my hand and pulled me in kissing me again this time with passion, I pulled away "Clint I can't do this I'm with Steve," he laughs at me "I don't think Steve is really your type little hawk," he kisses me again "Clint please he doesn't deserve this, he's always been nice to me." He sighed and nodded taking my bags we head for the car and drive back to the compound.

We pull up to see Tony and Eddie arguing outside, I quickly jumped out the car and ran up to see what happened "she took my card, doesn't want to know me but she took my card," I step into the middle of them "I didn't take your card Tony, Clint did to pay for the clothes that where wrecked, I am sorry I can pay you back," he sighed then glared at Clint "no it's fine little one, yeah understand you need more clothes after yours where destroyed." I smile and hugged him to thank him as me and Clint head to my room "I mean what I said that I am keeping your jumper and the pranks aren't over bird," he smiles and pulls me by the waist and kissed me passionately, "eemm Charlie?" Clint groaned as I pull back as a knock came at my door I open it and see Steve "I'm sorry Steve, what do you need?" He looks down "Emm movie night your turn to pick, and sorry about your clothes, also I'm glad you 2 are getting along." I smile and allow Clint to leave before going to slip into something more comfortable.
