New mission

I am first awake and slip out of bed to get ready making my way down to the kitchen and start working on breakfast. Loki comes in around an hour later "hey Loks can you started on the drinks please, Jarvis please wake the others and tell them breakfast is ready also the guests if they care to join." Loki smiles "yes Dean and Samual stayed along with the guardians are you sure you aren't over doing it?" I glare at him as Izzy runs in "mummy they all mad at you for waking them," I giggle as I plate up her food "well they shouldn't have stayed up all night but they should be fine once they have eaten, now if you excuse me I have work." I plate the rest of the food up as the others walk in taking their seats "sit and eat Lottie you can't skip meals Sis," I roll my eyes then sit beside Clint taking a slice of toast and a banana.

I finish them slowly trying to keep them down, "you want a muffin over lady Charlie?" My face goes green "no thank you, Thor," I smile and get up to make some tea "Charlotte can I have a word please in private?" I look at Bruce worryingly but I nodded and follow him as Clint stands to follow "I meant alone Clint don't worry it's nothing to worry about." We get to the lab where Bruce takes my labs "how long haven't you been eating?" I look at him shocked "wow Bruce I do eat I promise, it's just I can only keep a few things down at the moment." He looks surprised "and what is that so I can sort out things with vitamins and supplements." I smile rubbing my bump "well I can stomach bland food like toast, peanut butter, boiled eggs and some soups, I can drink tea and water anything else is no go." He looks and checks the labs "what about blueberries you love them?" I look down sadly as he hands the vitamins and things I need "well you are in good health hopefully the sickness should disappear now you are going into the second trimester." We smile and head back to the others laughing.

As soon as I walk into the room Clint stands coming for me, before holding me close refusing to let me go "now everyone we need to clear the decorations before you lot train and Sammy can I look into your new hunt please since I am not allowed to go on missions, or do much work in my own cafe?" They look at Eddie and as he nodded "here shrimp guessing it's something to do at the cafe," I smile and take the drive as I walk to my room to get changed for work. 'I need help," I texted Clint within seconds he's in the room panicking "what's wrong?" I begin to cry "I can't find anything that fits," he smiles pulling me in glad it was nothing serious "well put my shirt on and I will go shopping with Natasha while you are at work ok?" I nod and give him a kiss "Bucky is taking you today he feels up to going into the big world plus he will protect you and feels comfortable with you." I smile giving him a kiss before putting on his clothes.

We make our way downstairs "well hey buckstar ready to go?" He smiled "let's go gooey," I grab my laptop and we head. Getting there I see Anne already working "hey bimbo," she smiles and gets back to work as me and Bucky sit at a booth "order anything you want it's on the house." I smile at Bucky who takes the menu "I will be right back you going to be ok for a few minutes?" I roll my eyes as sick of being babied and go back to my screen "what the fuck is this? Wonder if Johns book says anything about them." Bucky walks over placing a tea and croissant infront of me and a chocolate cupcake and black coffee infront of him. "Thanks bucket," he smiles "so what's the case?" I look at him "Vetala, apparently they appear as a human until they are going to attack, then that reveals the sharp teeth and blue, snake-like eyes. They are mostly beautiful." I smile and continue reading as Bucky chuckles at my enthusiasm "so this is what you did before the avengers?" I laugh "not really when I was younger I was friends with moose and squirrel, Bobby used to babysit us and accidentally let it slip when a vampire attacked, then I started researching for them but the cafe has always been my top priority." He looks in shock as I sip my tea and continue to read the journal and do some more research.

"Oh these things are something else listen to their powers, they have fangs the journal states that a Vetala's bite marks on their human victims resemble the marks of a vampire attack. Paralysing venom which knocks the victim out cold and causes a ringing in the ear along with weakening the person strength. They have Super strength which means they may need you and Steve's help on this one, as they seem to have enhancements like use like hearing and other stuff like that," I turn to Bucky who looked terrified "hey Jamie how are you see you patched things up with Charlie." I smile at Anne "hi please my names James and she's a great help, her and Eddie you must be proud of him," she smiles as I go back to my findings as they talk since it's quiet.

The door chime goes not long after "emm Charlie I may need your help," I look to see the rest of the avengers and new people "where's my daughter?" I look but she wasn't there "with Loki at the tower pranking Peter," I smile giving Eddie a kiss on the cheek "usual order and what about  the raccoon and friends?" I hear Eddie laugh as I take the order "hey Sammy information is over there," he smiles and goes to look at my notes comparing them to his dads journal. "Think we need to start working with her more often again, have you found where to find them or kill them yet?" I shake my head "not yet but I will keep looking, Steve, Bucky a hand please this is to much for me and Eddie since I'm not allowed to lift much." They both nod and come to help as Clint walks in "sorry Tony may have went overboard on the card." He rolls his eyes as Clint kisses my cheek handing me the bags to look through as Anne gave him his coffee.

I thank Clint for getting the clothes but am more interested in the new case "hey Sammy look at this the lore believes that they haunt forests and sleep by hanging themselves upside down from trees like bats, if you can overpower them and then they will become loyal and would even give their lives for their masters." I say a little to cheerful I look at the others as they look concerned "so any clue how to kill it buttercup?" I stare at Sam "really can we not just overpower it I mean with me, Steve, Bucky and Eddie's strength we could take it would be a good ally?" Sam stared at me "nope Eddie your sister is definitely crazy you two sure she's not a demon?" I playfully hit Sam "seriously bird man I might not be a demon but Eddie won't hesitate to rip you apart." I laugh as Clint hugs me "you know you aren't going in the job it's to dangerous plus you need to stay with Izzy." I sigh as much as I like being pregnant they where all so over protective.

I continue to read into the lore as the others talk "well we will see you lot around we better head before rocket gives someone rabies," we all laugh as they say goodbye and tell Tony that they will watch out. The place quietens "ok here I found something you need a silver dagger." Dean looks shocked "sounds easy." I glare at him "wasn't finished squirrel boy, you need to stab it in the heart with a silver knife then twisted once to actually kill them, when they die, their bodies crumble apart." The brothers raise their eyebrows "they?" I nod as if not was obvious "yeah usually they hunt in pairs." Nodding they speak with the others as I drink my tea rubbing my bump. Clint's hand moves and places it on me "have you any clue who they are?" I look at the printer "yeah image is coming through Dean you can get it." He walks and takes the image before walking over and showing the others.

Tony looks at it "wait I know them they own the club we attend sometimes Sally and Marlene I believe their names are." Steve sighs "well if they are are going to be surrounded by people then how can we do this?" We all look down thinking of a plan "I will be back in a minute." I take my phone and walk into the back room locking the door behind me.
