Retirement

I wake the next morning cuddling into Clint "good morning baby how are you feeling?" I snuggle into him more "tired can we stay in bed today let the others watch Izzy?" He chuckles a little and rubs my arm as he kisses my head "sorry to interrupt Miss Brock and Mr Barton but you are required in the meeting room." I groan and look at Clint "Jarvis why is Charlie required in a meeting especially when she is pregnant?" The machine lights back up "Mr Rogers wishes everyone to be there." We both look at each other before getting out of bed getting ready and then making our way to the meeting room.

Making our way in Eddie and Tony is already there "what's going on?" Clint asks towards Tony but he shrugs "not a clue captain perfect isn't here yet either even though he called the meeting." I laugh as I love the nicknames Tony gives everyone, everyone comes in and sits down as we are waiting on Steve, taking a seat by Clint I rest my head on his shoulder as Steve was taking his sweet time. "Sorry I'm late everyone, now I know you are all wondering why I brought you here, well I wanted you to know I'm retiring." We all look at him in utter shock "haha funny Steve," he looks away from me and sighs "I am Leanne wants me to be safe and settle down, she doesn't like me putting myself in danger anymore." I look at him and burst out laughing as the rest look at him serious.

"I am leaving just after Christmas, I found a replacement his names John Walker I watched him he's the best in his unit. Any other questions?" Bucky slams his fist on the desk and walks out the meeting room "who the fuck is Leanne? Why have we never heard of her? I'm gonna go make sure Bucky is ok since his friends leaving him." I push pass Steve and chase after Bucky which was hard while pregnant "JAMES BUCHANAN BARNES stop making a pregnant girl run." I stop and open my arms as he walks into them and just lets me hold him quietly "I'm here if you need to talk about anything Buck you know where I am." He nods slightly "I'm going to go train want to watch?" I sigh and rub my bump "I can't need to go work plus Christmas shopping and party prep, hey why don't you help me?" He smiles and we walk back into the meeting room where everyone was still arguing.

"Hey me and Bucky are going to head to work as we have the Christmas party to organise," Clint walks over and kisses my head "you to want a lift 'let me get out of here I can't be bother with the arguing," I laugh at Clint and give him a kiss "yeah please man I don't trust princess Moody's driving nor do I trust my arm," I playfully hit Bucky "hey I made that arm myself I feel incredibly insulted now that you don't trust it know something give me it back then if you don't want it, I'm sure someone will want it." Clint pulls me in for a hug as I say goodbye to everyone then head out.

Getting to the cafe Bucky opens up and turns the equipment on then begins to mutter before turning to me "so who is this Leanne then is she good for him?" I stop what I was doing and think before realising I haven't actually ever met her or heard about her before today "I couldn't tell you I haven't met her I don't think anyone has." Just as I'm finished talking I look as the door watching Clint who's on the phone. "I still have cakes in the back I need to ice and sort for Christmas I can't believe it's a week before Christmas, you ok with front of house a while yourself?" He smiles and nods as I hear the door chimes "Clint in the back with me please," he nods and follows behind me "coming mama hawk." I roll my eyes at his nickname as he lets out a small chuckle.

We walk into the back and he smiles "well mama?" I throw an apron at him "we need to ice the biscuits and decorate the cakes you promised to help me." He kisses my head and got to work 'just to let you all know captain idiot has invited both this Leanne and John to dinner tonight just a head up love you Eddie xxx' I groan and let Clint and Bucky know "can we work later than usual please." I nod and continue in the back "emm Charlie I could use your help in here," I roll my eyes and walk out back to a now very busy cafe, I take a few orders and fill up coffee and tea when I start feeling light headed. "Hey I don't feel right," I manage to say before I feel myself pass out.

Bucky PoV
I see Charlotte starting to fall so run towards her grabbing her before he hits the floor and shout on Clint who comes rushing out the back. "What happened?" I look at him, "she was helping next thing I know she was going down think I should close?" He shakes his head "I know she didn't want to meet caps girl but she didn't need to do this can you get me some sugar water probably low levels." I nod and go get what he asked as one of our regulars took over and served the customers as we dealt with Charlie. "Should I phone an ambulance?" Rob asks panicked a little as she's usually awake by now, Clint shook his head as her vitals where strong I handed him the cup and he placed it allowing her to drink as she came around. "Hey babe you ok?" She nodded and with Clint's assistance sat up slowly before moving to a table as I went back to work.

Charlie pov
I sit for a while still feeling dizzy "have you eaten today my child?" I look at Rob and shake my head "well that won't help, Bucky pizza and a tea and blueberry muffin now you will sit there until you eat it understand." I nod knowing it was useless to argue with Rob "Clint can you continue decorating the biscuit please." He kisses my head and nodded as he went to the back as I sit and eat with Rob "so you haven't told me the baby's name yet?" I smile placing my hand on my stomach "Carl Harold Howard Barton, after our fathers," he smiled with pride "they would love that angel I can't tell you how proud I am of you and Eddie." I hug him as I finish feeling a little better I go see how Clint is getting on.

Walking in the back I stand at the door watching Clint try to decorate the biscuits (cookies) but failing but the smile never fades from his face "hey honey, need a hand?" He turns and his eyes light up "please I don't want to destroy your reputation with my awful decorating skills." I laugh and walk over "can't be that bad surly." He looks down as I see the biscuits "we can say Izzy decorated them." He smirks and throws flour at me "Izzy would do a better job, now come here." He grabs my hand and lifts me on the counter kissing me passionately, he moves down my neck causing me to moan as his hands move up my thighs. "I love you baby, never forget that." I try to answer but he slips a finger inside causing me to moan and drop my head on his shoulder.

After a while Clint pulls his fingers out and is positioning himself between my legs whilst unbuckling his belt kissing me passionately, suddenly Bucky walks in the back "seriously come on!" I let out a giggle as Clint helps me down groaning buckling his belt back up, "decorating can wait until tomorrow Eddie's closing the cafe early  to catch up on things now we need to go meet Leanne and John." I groan but nod cleaning up the back room before heading out allowing Bucky to lock  up and we drive back to compound none of us really trusting this woman who we have never heard about until now.
