HARLOW

YOU know that feeling you get when you go on a ride and before it starts the adrenaline starts to act up. This car ride to the airport is what's giving and not the good kind of adrenaline that makes you want to vomit. And honestly I hope I pull through with my plan and make my parents proud.

"Swettie you good back there" My mom says as I turn my head from the window as I look at her.

"Im fine just kinda nervous you know '' I honestly feel like throwing up just thinking about it. In all honesty it's what I have to do for my family to get back our dinner. It was my parents dream until they lost it, and now that is my goal for the time being to get it back. I love my parents for everything they have done. Now I want to return the favor and I hope they are not disappointed in me in the end.

"Sweetie you'll do fine and if anything happens were one call away and plus Luana will be there" Luana pari campbellemy best friend since i meet her in kindergarten and ever since she gave me one of her hair pom poms and sticked in the middle of my bun we've been insabile. And let me tell you we would do anything for each other now. How are two city girls going to survive in a small state in Utah? I'll guess we'll find out when I get there.

I feel my phone vibrate. I pull it out of my hoodie pocket and see Luana call me. I turn to my mom and give her a small smile.

"Speaking of Best friend" waving my phone to her showing her the screen my mom then smiles at me and shakes her head i then answer the phone.

"Hey LuLu' I tell her I can see through her phone her super curly hair tied in a bun, her face glowing, her dark compilations making her glow and give a natural sun kiss wherever she goes it seems like the light just shines bright.

"I cable wait till you get here, we have so much to do. Oh I can't wait for you to meet our roommates" she says excitedly that's who Luana always a happy person you doesn't have a thing to worry about even tho her mother is conserverite and rescued her from begin a cheerleader but that begin said her mother is indian and just wanted what was best for her but the end of the day Luana stuck to her dream and her mother got used to it she won't talk about it but that's just her mother.

"I'm actually heading to the airport. I should be there in a few hours. Let's just hope my flight doesn't get delayed." I told her.

"Lo stop jinxing yourself, you better knock on wood" she says as i raise my fist and knock on my head.

"They're happy," I tell her.

"Luana sweetheart, how are you? You doing good over there" my mom says as i hand her the phone at this point knowing my mother she will talk for hours in this case the car ride home and all i can do is listen to their conversation.

"Lu make sure, Harlow doesn't break her toe again or else she can't dance" my chest tights on the thought of dancing. I've been dancing ballet since I was five. And since then I have been dancing , leaping in the air and spinning until now. Now just mentioning dancing just makes me want to throw up back my last ri here was my last one.

"I'll make sure or else she will cry all month about it. '' Luana tells her as she lets out a slight laugh as my mother then gives back my phone. I look out the window, seeing the airport and my dad pulling up. I tell Luana that I'll talk to her later when i get there and we hang up. My dad didn't say a word the whole way over here and I know him just by being silent, he's just as nervous as I am.

My dad then gets out the car from drop off and opens the trunk and pulls out my three suitcases and I pull out my carry on. My mom crashes me with a big hug. I can feel her tears on my neck and I am always a person who cries when I see someone else cry. I wrap my arms around her and my silent tears start to water on her t-shirt. She pulls me away and holds on to my shoulders.
