Forgive me for the wrong grammars and spelling on every chapter. I don't have much time to edit. Peace!
~Months have passed but nothing had changed. He was the same guy that hurts me everytime of the day.
I'm actually staying at my mom and dad today. Not that I'm running away from my husband of course I wouldn't leave him, I just thought I needed sometime for myself and I actually miss my parents. They mean everything to me.
Mom and I are fond of staying in the kitchen. For me she's the best of the best cook ever! Every dish she cooks is simply amazing. She is my teacher in terms of cooking different dishes.
I got interested in cooking when I found out I was marrying the man I love. She once told me that 'a way too a man's heart is through his stomach' I wanted to please him so I did my best to be a good cook just like my mom.
I strived hard to learn how to cook at first I got bruises from the oil, got cuts from knives, and even burned my hand because of holding the hot pan without being careful.
I did learn how to cook but I knew there was something missing in my dish. It wasn't really the same as my mother's. I asked her what was wrong and began to panic that what if Marco would not love my cook?
She just gave me a small smile and said...
"Dear, the secret ingredient in every dish is simply 'Love' pour love in every dish you make and it will definitely give you a great outcome."
I followed what my mom told me and started cooking again but this time I was thinking of Marco. I poured all the love I have for him in every dish.
It was already dinner time. I helped mom in setting up the dining table and called daddy to eat already. Dad was so excited whenever mom cooks for us he would definitely stop whatever he is doing just to taste mom's dish. And that my dad ran all the way to the stairs to the dining area but luck was not really on his side.
He tripped on the carpet in the hallway. I let out a small chuckle from my lips hoping he didn't hear me.
"Don't you ever dare laugh at me young lady!" Dad said joking.
"HAHA! Sorry Dad but I can't stop laughing knowing that the great CEO Alexandro Rivers tripped in a carpetted floor."
Hahaha! Funny right? I mean it's not everyday you could see a highly respected person tripping infront of you like a baby boy.
"Is that so my dear daughter?"
Dad looked at me and I wasn't really happy by the looks of his face right now. I know that look he looks at me that way when he has a plan to get back on me when I make fun of him.
"Uh oh...." I was about to run when his mighty hands captured me trapping me.
"Not so fast kiddo"
"Dad! Not fair!"
He started tickling me mercilessly! I laughed my heart out, tears sprung in my eyes because he kept on tickling me.
"HAHAHAHA!"
"Stop that both of you and let's eat I'm dead hungry!"
It was mom's voice that made daddy stop his childish revenge on me.
"Well sweetheart you could eat me I'm alot edible"
It always gives me goosebumps whenever dad talks to mom that way. I mean gross yah know.
"Shut up sweety our daughter is here!"
Dad raised both of his hands up as a sign of defeat.
We all went to the dining table had a short prayer thanking God of keeping us together and giving us graces.
How lucky I am to have them.
